There are many personifications for the Macintosh Operating System by Apple Computer. The first personification was Mac-tan, who was a general personification for the Macintosh Operating System. The second is for Mac OS 9, better known as Sonata. Another is for Mac OS 8, better known as OS8-tan. The fourth is for Mac OS X, better known as OSX-tan.
