Technical Details

TSOS was released as a user-friendly mainframe OS that provided an interface for both batch and time-sharing processing that was simplified, efficient, and had an advantage of its contemporaries, such as the OS/360 series.

Character Details

TSOS-tan is represented as a woman with black hair in a hime cut, is about average height, and she wears a red+white dress with a lightning bolt pattern on it. Her dress looks like a cross between a dirndl and a kimono.

She is patient and polite, even when under pressure from more arrogant Guild members. She enjoys many TV and radio programs, listens to 8-track tapes, and knows a lot of trivia about the entertainment industry, which she still pays attention to.

She isn't very secure of her identity, and although she finally settled into the IBM culture, she still doesn't feel sure where she belongs. Friendlier than most of the IBM-tans, but is passive-aggressive towards them, especially their de-facto leader OS/360-tan.
