Silver Dollar-tan has short, gray hair. She wears a large silver dollar tied to her head like a hat. Her arms, legs and neck are wrapped in bandages (a reference to her Leprosy nickname).
If Silver Dollar-tan touches someone, there is a strong chance that someone will become infected with old age. While this is a reference to leprosy as well, it also refers to the Japanese use of the English word silver when referring to senior citizens.
