IE-tan is a very rare image, as Firefox is drawn much more commonly. IE-tan is based in Internet Explorer, the default internet client for Microsoft Windows since Windows 95 (Everyone used Mosaic before then). Since so few images of IE-tan exist, the design is up to the imagination, although it is suggested she be an explorer of some kind.
