Description

The Commodore VIC-20 was first released in Japan (as the VIC-1001) in 1980 and later released to other countries in 1981 and is the first computer in the Commodore line to support color and the first home computer in history to sell 1 million units.

VIC20-tan is represented as young and aggressive girl, 143 cm tall [4'8] with wavy burgundy hair and fairly intimidating orange eyes. She wears her military tunic with her insignia and Brodie helmet from her old Commodore days. Her tunic is grey and black with Commodore rainbow trim- colored after the original VIC-20 unit. Her blue skirt, bow, white frilly knee-high socks and red+blue shoes are recent add-ons. Her main weapon is an M1903 Springfield rifle but also carries around some bayonets in close combat.

OSC Notes

Her original attire and her attitude were modeled after turn-of-the-20th-century Doughboys and thus was involved in more land-based and close-quarter fighting than her sisters, who were all primarily naval captains. Since Commodore's collapse, she has turned cynical and travels the world rather than stay in one spot lamenting a past that few people bother to remember.

Her recent additions to her outfit are very feminine and dainty, contrasting with her old-fashioned military attire. It's a way of showing that, deep down inside, she wants to be more feminine and wants to be a part of modern life, but the memories of her past simply refuse to let her do that outright.
