Lunar Linux-tan (formerly known as Lunar Penguin) is represented as a wizard girl with short, spiky black hair partly in pigtails (to mimic the horned owl in the Lunar Linux logo); light yellow eyes, glasses, a wizard hat with crescent moons on it and wears a futuristic wizard robe over a white dress, metallic blue leggings and also often has on rollerskates. The antennae she has under her hat are for connecting with her moonbase. She is a skilled programmer highly knowledgeable of the Unices although she doesn't flaunt it much. She is very witty, likes to joke around and likes animals (her favorites being owls, penguins and squirrels).
She is Sorcerer Linux-tan's daughter and Source Mage-tan's older sister. Lunar Linux-tan's and Source Mage-tan's relation with their mother is shaky at best, but they are close sisters often seen together.
