One of the earliest members of the Binteji Renmei (Vintage Federation), ZX Spectrum-tan retired with the comfort of knowing that she was the starting point for many talented programmers around the world. She is sweet and mild-mannered, but playful enough to be approachable and frugal enough to care for your wallet. Despite her demure appearance, she's actually quite adventurous, and doesn't shy from meeting new people, trying new things and traveling to any imaginable country. Her worldly knowledge, coupled with her studiousness and prior experience as an educational aid, makes her well-suited for her position as primary teacher at the Binteji Renmei.
At the time of this writing, the only known renditon of any ZX Spectrum model OS-tan is a representative catch-all for the entire ZX Spectrum line, including the ZX Spectrum+, 128, +2 and +3.  The decision not to settle on any particular system was due to the lack of any clearly-defined internal operating system aside from the Sinclair BASIC programming language (although later models were capable of running [[DR-DOS|CP/M]].

ZX Spectrum-tan stands a solid 155 cm with blue-green eyes and blonde hair. Her blood type is 8 and whose sister is Sinclair QL and lots of bootlegs. She likes books, audio cassettes, black-and-white films, and exotic apparel. She dislikes R Tape loading errors.
She is depicted as a young adolescent girl, sweet and mild-mannered, but also radiating a playful and tacit wisdom indicative of her age and former popularity around the world. She wears glasses, has her sandy-blonde hair usually tied forward in long pigtails, and dons a vested brown uniform that alludes to her British origin. Her pleated skirt is alsoemblazend with the rainbow parallelogram that used to be the Spectrum logo.

She has few personality quirks, but she's not as physicially capable as many of the other member -tans of her generation and tends to be quite poor at sports or high-performance games. She has some technical talent, but mainly narrowed to her particular hobbies (e.g, musical composition, code-breaking, etc). Additionally, while she's not color-blind, she could easily fool anyone as she has a strange fascination for color-clashing (and/or style-clashing) her clothing. It takes seconds to befriend her as a person, but weeks to get used to her as a fashion disaster.
In addition to her base clothing, she also accessorizes with intentionally color-mismatched items, a reference to the Attribute Clashing which severely affected the original system and its software/games. The accessories will often be of divergent cultures as well, owing to the ZX Spectrum's popularity outside of 1980's Western markets, specifically in Brazil and the former Soviet Union.
