Yggdrasil Linux-tan is represented as a winged Viking girl in an early medieval-style outfit; a simple reddish brown tunic with white sleeves, leggings, brown boots and gloves and wears a Viking helmet with gnu horns. Her 3 long brown ponytails with leaves tied at the end are references to the Yggdrasil tree of Norse Mythology which the distro is named after. She is a proud and strong-willed crusader and advocate for the advancement of Open Source, Linux and freedom. But since Yggdrasil Linux became defunct years ago, Yggdrasil Linux-tan's whereabouts today or even if she is still alive remain unknown.
