Mac System 4.2-tan is '''[[Mac OS5 |Mac System 5-tan's]]''' human alter-ego; she has shorter but brighter purple hair in 4 pigtails (2 in braids) as a throwback to Mac System 4-tan. She also wears translucent yellow-rimmed glasses, a black+white hoodie with red sleeves, dark red skirt, long orange socks and green+white high-heeled boots. She can still use magic like her phantom counterpart but is a lot different in personality. 4.2-tan is a lot more extroverted but is cautious, knowing that her pranks may not be as successful or effective due to easily being seen. Also unlike Mac System 5-tan, she shows a hatred for perversion (while Mac System 5-tan happily watches Foobies-tan's and OSX-kun's perverted antics)

Mac System 4.2-tan used to be considered Mac System 5-tan's human alter-ego, but is now an obsolete character dropped out of continuity.
