| Mac System 2-tan looks a lot like [[Mac OS1 | System 1-tan]] but has two straight side ponytails on the left, wears a sash over her dress, and wears long socks instead of leg warmers and has a height of 4'2 [127 cm] and their personalities are quite different.

| System 2-tan is observant, witty, very intelligent, a little conservative-minded as well as more calm and stable. The main differences from her predecessor are increased stability, introduction the Shut Down and New Folder commands and the Minifinder (the first form of 'multitasking' that at least allowed for convenient access to other applications to make switching from one to another much quicker). She carries a Newspeak-to-Oldspeak dictionary with her and carries a duck puppet (as sort of a visual pun on Duckspeak) and is fluent in Newspeak, Oldspeak and Duckspeak. She likes to give lectures and also uses her duck puppet to keep things interesting and prevent attendants from falling asleep. She gets along best with [[Apple II | Apple II-tan]], Mac System 1-tan, [[Mac OS4 | Mac System 4-tan]], [[OSX Leopard | Mac OS X Leopard-tan]] and [[The Smoking Gun | The Smoking Gun-tan]].

| Despite being generally calm and content, she is prone to outbursts of insanity. And although highly intelligent, she is very misunderstood with not much attention paid to her and few believing what she says- even if it is good advice. This reflects how Macintosh System 2 is one of the most obscure and least used Mac OSes, supported only on the first two Macintosh models (the 128k and 512k) which could easily upgraded to System 3. These same two Macs also support System 1 which may actually be used less than System 2 but has a legacy for being the first and having a history.

| Being so intelligent, she correctly suspected the true identities of [[Mac OS 42 | Mac System 4.2-tan]] and [[Mac OS44 | Mac System 4.4-tan]] (despite being kept secret all this time and only between 4.2-tan and 4.4-tan) and is tempted to blurt it out for one reason or another but has not because she feels it wouldn't matter if she did because no one would probably believe her.

| Still, she does not have very many conflicts with her family although she used to have a lot back in her youth- against [[Mac OS3 | Mac System 3-tan]] (for completely overshadowing her and thinking she's a sellout) and Mac System 4-tan (for being so gluttonous) although she did reconcile with them, won over by the cheerful kindness of both of them, as well Mac System 4-tan's empathy towards her.
