Overview
The CDC Faction was established in 1959 by MSOS-sama and her sister CDC MASTER-sama. In the 60's and 70's, their faction reached its peak power. It is still very competitive, but in its early years was notorious for power-struggles, but their family structure is actually more balanced than it appears to be.
SCOPE-sama ascended to leadership, usurping power from SPIROS, and has been in leadership even after their faction's dissolution. Her second-in-command and technical deputy is MACE-kun, who although is the loose cannon of the CDCs, respects and obeys SCOPE for her strong sense of family. They are still arch-rivals with NOS, who has always been plotting against them and trying to seize power, but has never been successful.
NOS-tan is widely disliked by the CDCs. None of them will speak for her (not even her daughter NOS/VE-tan), except for KRONOS-kun, whose role as a mediator kept the family together, and he would come to either side's defense if the other side tried to start a fight.
All of them, except for SCOPE-tan are enemies with the Crays (reflecting Seymour Cray's animosity towards CDC after he left), though they consider their biggest enemy of all to be the DECs of the East Coast.
Even after their faction's official dissolution around 1989, the CDCs banded together in the Mainframe Guild, where they still contribute in the fields of business and science.
