Technical details
OS/8 (not to be confused with IBM's OS/2); formerly known as MS/8 and PS/8 is an OS from Digital Equipment Corporation that ran on the PDP-8 system as its main OS. It uses the Concise Command Language which was considered a very advanced language comparable to some modern ones. OS/8 could boot in under half a second and could be reconfigured without rebooting but had no form of timekeeping and first encountered Y2K problems in 1977.
Character details
OS/8-tan is represented as a thin young woman with short black hair, light green eyes and wears a red dress. She is very fast and while an excellent orator, she has no capacity for keeping time and tends to get up in the middle of the night and sleep in the afternoon. She gets along the best with TOPS-10-tan.
