Troubled Windows USA was a doujin production by a yet unnamed Japanese artist. It was a short, 3-part series not usually accepted as part neither of the canon nor by international fans. It features not widely-accepted characterizations known as the OS-tan USA characters, which are versions of the OS-tans based around American stereotypes and are drawn in a style closer to western comics. 2K-USA is dark-skinned with a masculine face and wears military uniforms and equipment, ME-USA is similar to the original ME-tan except for the style she is drawn in along with a handgun coming out of her hair and her upbringing in a bad neighborhood; and XP-USA is a large blond female bodybuilder with the appearance of a pro wrestler along with star-shaped pasties.
