	Slashdot-tan is mostly antisocial, aggressive, an elitist and not friendly to newbies or Windows-tans. But if someone can prove their worth, they just might get her respect. Slashdot-tan is represented as a disgruntled teenage girl with short brown hair w/ a teal streak in the middle, and she wears a white shirt, black + teal polka dotted skirt and diagonally striped leggings, some upper body armor and a helmet with the Slashdot logo on it.

She is a news lady who specializes in the subjects of technology, science and gaming. She is very gluttonous and a bandwidth hog, carrying a large bowl labeled Bandwidth (somewhat akin to XP Pro-tan's habit of carrying a bowl labeled memory) sometimes hogging so much that smaller websites (and smaller website-tans) crash, something she is most notorious for- known as the Slashdot Effect. She also carries a sword with her which is used to slash at people.
