There are countless different Linux-distributions, so the work is nowhere near being finished. Generally, most distro-tans look similar due to being based on the same kernel, but there are some remarkable exceptions. Some remarkable distro-tans are:<br />

* [[Lindows]]-tan: The original designer of her is unknown, she is drawn as girl with a white T-shirt or dress. Her hair changes from green to blue on the way downwards.<br />
* NepaLinux-tan: an asian girl with dark skin and short hair, who only speaks Nepali. her spear has instead of the three banners a nepalese flag.<br />
* RedHat-tan and Fedora-tan: These designs seem only to differ in the colors in order to show the similarity of redHat Linux and Fedora Core. <br />
