i'm considering skipping school on wed. due to the predicted TWENTY-FOUR INCHES OF FROZEN WATER. O___O;
speaking of which, i read an article today that says that my town and surrounding towns are pretty much through their snow removal budgets, which are supposed to last till june. :\

my mum is usually a saint, but menopause seems to have made her a bit mood-swingy. and she has an associate's in psychology, so often times she psychoanalyzes alot of what i say so as a result i don't usually talk to her about my problems. :\
my dad is european. he also grew up without a dad, so he uses this as an excuse as to why he seems to be such an inattentive one. i rarely talk to him about my problems, when i have extended conversations with him at all. he is the source of alot of my mental issues and the reason my childhood was quite hellish. however, he's gotten better since i was a kid, but he's no less grumpy, aggressive, frugal, or hard to talk to. :\
i am only starting to trust my sister again. she saved my ass a bunch when we were kids, and took the brunt of the abuse from our father. however, this is counteracted by her bipolar disorder, which has contributed to her screwing me over multiple times. she's stolen from me, tried to kill me, and has let me down on many an occasion. however, i still love her, and i wouldn't give her up for anything, since if it weren't for medical science i wouldn't even have her.

the rest of my family has their ups and downs, depending on whom you're talking about. my grandparents are very sweet and loving, even if they don't support all of my endavors. my cousins are divided into 3 groups:
the burkes, my mother's older sister's kids; 1 of them (plus my aunt) have their heads in hollywood, 1 is more conservative than the entire republican party, and 1 is pretty much the only down-to-earth one of the family.
the shelzis, my mother's younger sister's kids: all 4 of them are extremely down to earth, which is why i've always gotten along better with them. mind you, 1 i never see and is technically a half-cousin, and the other 3 act like the cast of jersey shore, but i still love them to pieces, and as for my cousin nina (one of the jersey trio), i couldn't be prouder of her for getting her life together.
the roulets, my dad's older and younger brother's kids: i've met 2 of 3, and even then only once. we only conversed through a card game called chow sept, but other than that we got along. last i heard lisa was still as smart as ever and was fairly independent, jan was (still) a mama's boy, and marcus spoke wonderful english and was polite and sweet.

other than that, all my extended family is in europe/canada/somewhere around manchester, nh and i haven't seen any of them in at least 5 years.

EDIT: Nej, if you come here for the summer, there's an event known as The Blood Games, that i thought might be nice to attend. i've only been once, but it was really, really fun, and i was dubbed a hardcore larper that weekend. -w-
if you've never larped before, it's something i get the feeling you'd enjoy. :3

YOU COULD HAVE PREVENTED THIS

zjhentohlauedy

tho i might really be bad with snow but i don't know yet.

I am kinda allergic to really cold stuff so i guess i might die if i experience snow ._.

(thankyou for asking, i was going to but you beat me to it)

@zen: due to snow i'm going to have to skip school tomorrow. >__< i'm going to email my teachers, but if any of them don't accept it as an excuse that means i only have 2 more alloted sick days for the semester. ;__;
@nej: i loved larping when i used to, even though i was non-combat. whether you participate or not, it's an exciting spectacle. and i loved exploring the surrounding woods. ^^
the blood games was especially fun. there was running, switzerland, snuggling, stray cats, open fields, human chess, and we found out the emergency room has a dress code! ^0^

for one of my classes, we need to do a project about making a machine (in photoshop). i've decided to kill 2 birds with one stone by (finally) making....
OS-TAN FLELES. >:3

if you don't know what flele is, look here.

The ER likes pants and things that won't trip the staff up, is what I've found.

Chocofreak13

no, it wasn't even their pants! they were shirtless, so the ER kicked them out. :3 (weird, cause it wasn't even busy or anything.)

Aurora Borealis

I got out of school early today (no afternoon class) due to a blizzard warning. Expected to get a buttload of snow. x_x

stewartsage

Wow, that'd never happen at any ER I've ever been in.

Good luck Aurora-dono, our snow is finally starting to melt here for which much joy is being expressed.

I must have had one, otherwise I wouldn't be here. But yes, she isn't with us now.

How can an ER have a dress code? Unless you mean the ER waiting room has a dress code (which doesn't make complete sense either...)

Red-Machine

Ah, I'm guessing it's a touchy subject.  I won't enquire further, then.

it was on a saturday afternoon, in western mass. the place was dead (lol, the HOSPITAL was dead), yet they kicked out the two guys that came with me (after a little while) because they were shirtless. :\
they canceled afternoon and evening classes for my school. i don't have class today, but that's a good sign for tomorrow. either way, i should email my teachers.

how the hell did i kill the slashfic thread?

Blizzard outside. Now I know why it's better to stay inside instead of walking home in it. Had ice clinging to my face.

stewartsage

I don't think you killed it, I think everyone's busy writing.

Like I said I've been in ER's with shirtless people, profusely bleeding people, and basically all sorts.  Guess different hospitals different policies. *shrug*

Where the hell are you and can you send it my way plox.
Supposed to get around 6inch of snow tonight or something like that, happy about that :D

The teacher whom supervises our Robotics club at school scored us two vintage laptops that were in the high school's basement! Compaq Armada (Happens to be one of the first laptops I used growing up) and a Dell latitude! Armada runs 98SE and Dell runs Win2kPro, just what we need to run the old lego mindstorm programs. If the robotics club is disbanded after my senior year (which it might, only about 6 of us show up regularly to the meetings and 1 isn't all the serious about programming which is the vital part of the robot.) I get the laptops (due to being the only person really using them and taking care of them, all needed a major reinstall of the OS due to being so old)!

In other news, I took over all of China in Risk which I play with 4 other people in my study hall! I made a peace treaty with "Jordania" (My friend Jordan's country) where I help him gain all of Europe while I beat the living hell out of "Hamland" (My friend whom go's by Hamilton) in Australia. "Fran" and "assland" are fighting over the congo right now going back and forth with owning it, "Hamland" has some of North America but can't get to Asia because "Jordania" is Protecting me by holding Alaska. "Fran" holds almost all of South America and has dubbed himself "Drug lord Fran" even though "assland" is still holding onto Argentina. Everyone but "Jordania" is scared of me because I have around 80 troops and half the world while teasing everyone by attacking, taking out 2 of their troops, adding 10 more to the area I'm attacking from.

Such fun.
