Today I bought a badass longcoat (which I must wear ironically, since I'm lacking in the badass department), some really weird boots, and picked up a pre-1930s Royal typewriter from... an auto mechanics' shop. It's a complete rust-bucket, but damned if it's not really vintagetastic.

Sounds like the cash register I almost bought from a mechanic, that thing was ancient but so cool looking.  Unfortunately I have nowhere to put it.

Spent the day running around the Lakes Region, looking for work. We may've found some. Also, found the rest of my Halloween costume (I'm going as a 1960s engineer and/or Girl!Dan Faraday), discovered a pissah antique shop, visited an arcade game museum and had lunch. Among other things.

My most genius moment by far happened at dinner on sunday (keep in mind, I was tired as crap and still kinda tipsy by this time), which is as follows:

I placed my penis and testicles into my empty water glass, and then switched the contents and glass with the glass of some large un-nameable man who usually wears a clock like flava-flave while he was out on a smoke break. The second he took a sip, the entire table lost it.
