Quote from: "stewartsage"I have yet to see Avatar in any form.  Don't really feel all that pressed to either I must say.

I watched it for about 7 minutes until they used the word 'unobtainium' to reference an actual element.

Me neither, I'm not interested.

.......agreed. makes me dislike it even moar. both avatar and the last airbender kinda suck.....(avatar got too much hype)

@bell: damn, why did you go on my day off? >___< (of course i had today off too, so yeah -w-; )
@stew: your experiences remind me of a rather INTERESTING story about my dad's trip to guatamala.......it changes a little every time, but always ends with him having a very vocal conversation with a spider, a gecko, and a volley ball. :\
@nejin: there are two religion channels here; i watched one once because 1. it was playing the movie heidi, which i had neither seen nor read; and 2. i didn't realize it was religious untill after.
@kraus: my dad almost taught me to shoot once. we don't usually get along, but i kinda wish he had.

let's see, current happenings, visited my high school the other day, visited a few teachers, got some new computers to replace the broken ones, got yelled at by my former dean-turned-humanities-director. escaped with three computers, had to go back today for a motherboard to supplement one. one of the computers i got for the antique lawls, a "tiger" computer that i can't even seem to find a wiki page about, and says was made for win. 98.
was supposed to go sketch a castle in perspective today for homework, but never got around to it. crap...

we went to the animal shelter on wed. and today, but today i found a cat i want so badly i actually cried when we had to leave it.....

Don't worry Kari, I'm sure I'll see you sometime this winter when I'm working in the city with my family. If, I mean, we still haven't had any bookings (but that should soon change *crosses fingers*).

I, for one, plan on running off to wander the city every chance I get. >>

As for shooting, I really have to do target practice more often with my air pistol. Dad insists he won't be comfortable with me living on my own until I know how to handle a firearm, lol. <<

A Tiger computer? Do you mean OSX Tiger? :V

Gottdammit I'm so friggin itchy right now. >< Although I'm doing better-ish than I was...

Chocofreak13

dude, hope your itchy isn't something worse. here, it usually is. >___<;;

there's this great bubble tea place that me and my friend go to on mondays, you should come. to get to it, you take the red line to the harvard square stop, then exit to jfk st (or w/e it's called), then go up jfk st, past the garage (<3) till you hit this little red wooden stoop, and it's called the boston tea stop. they serve mochi ice cream too, it's sooooo good. ^^

no, the computer literally says "Tiger" on the front. it has "tim" written on the top, so i officially now have "timmy" as one of my computers. xD (the list now is gothy, shitty, speedy, tanky, biggy, and timmy. ^^)

only shooting practice i got was with this former friend of mine gabe, and second lesson he tried to direct me how to shoot but he was all sweaty and smelled bad so i broke away and rolled in the grass to get the man funk off. >____<;

Hello! I am well, how are you?

Hello there Tan-1, can't speak for everyone but I'm doing fine (and slightly less in pain now).

Spent the last four hours or so touring my prospective college (technically, university) with ~400 other students and parents. A beautiful campus and all, but the dorms were like... Soviet tenements or something. ><;;;

At which point I became all condescending and was like, "I'm going to be a commuter student hurrrrr~"

And it's a Mac friendly school, when the tourguide asked if any of us used Macs I was all like, "I do, hurrrr~" *smugness*

The science centre, where I'll be spending most of my classroom time if all goes well, looks pretty horrible though. Lots of linoleum floors and fluorescent lighting and fake wooden paneling. And one section was completely cordoned off and pitch-black due to a science experiment in progress... D:

Good grub at the lunch hall though. >:3

And there was this panel on the auditorium, and the admissions manager/panel-head made this totally dazed-looking kid from Long Island get up on stage and asked him about his shoes. "Why'd you buy those shoes, son?"

"Um........... because they were the right price, and look cool, and um, for the ladies."

"And why do you want to go to this university?"

"Um.... it's the right price.... I guess...."

We lol'd.

But I mean, Sweet Jesus, those dorms... ;O;

...
...

Why is nobody ever on Skype anymore? D:

To the best of my knowledge/uptime counter, LAMBDA has been on and connected since 19:42 yesterday, the whole time during which I've been logged on. Last 5 hours I may have been set to "away" due to being at work, but it's still been active. Was wondering myself where you were, actually - did you mess something up with your setup, perhaps? It seems to be so, since I sent you a message yesterday and it still hasn't been delivered (assuming you've been logged on sometime during the latest 23 hours).

And pizza added.

Well I usually am logged on to Skype, unless I'm sitting on my car hood for two hours waiting for a tow truck.

WHY DID YOU STEAL SCIENCE HALL!?  Seriously, that's what it's called.  Science. Hall.  Always has been, since the 1920's.  Though the original became the Charles A. Albert Science Hall then just plain Albert Hall.  It doesn't have just science though, it holds the entire nursing and math departments as well plus a planetarium (ehhhh) and a greenhouse on the roof.

My dorm is pretty much awesome.  Suites are where it's at. as Presidential demonstrates.

NejinOniwa

I have frankly no idea what was just said in this last post, and I am too tired to bother trying to decipher it. _W_;
