*hugs everyone* thanks guys. .____.

No, no college this year, I'm not in much a rush anyway... after I'm done with college it'll probably be even more college (grad degrees ftw) it's not like I'm trying to get out there into the job market/real world anyway, so.... yeah. <<

Chocofreak13

bells, you're lucky that you don't HAVE to go to college this year. it's not like i can pass up $8500 in scholarship..... ;w;
as it stands i currently have NO CLUE as to how i'm going to get to boston from here. it's not like it's a huge distance, it's just a pricey trip. >___<;;

i'm thinking a moped. sure, i'd probably have a longer route than just highway, but it's cheaper than a car, can get the same speeds (if you trick it out) and is MUCH EASIER to obtain a licence for. (3-day class and you get a moped/motorcycle licence i've heard. -w-)

aw, it's ok bella. come down and visit me. it's southern NH, which is an ENTIRE WORLD AWAY from norther NH. :3

Wow, that's a big scholarship. :O

Wouldn't it just be easier to get a friend to drive you, or take a bus or something?

Imma try to get over my fear of driving this year, because cars... scare the bejesus out of me. Admittedly, I'd rather be IN a car than outside one when it comes to travel (ie, bikes, mopeds, walking, etc).

Ironically, I'd be more likely to see you in Boston than So. NH; it's very tentative yet, but we're trying to get our photographic business established in the city, you know, parties and weddings and stuff. Which would mean that I'd be spending my weekends in Boston working with my family. Considering my lack of work-ethic (aka downright don't-give-a-damn-ness and tendency to wander away from jobs) it's likely I'll be wandering the city aimlessly one day and cross paths with you... xD

No really, we should try to hang out sometime if *crosses fingers that it's when* I'm working in Boston. ^^

Chocofreak13

^^ i'll have to find a nice coffee shop and drag you to it.

i'm getting $8500 a year in scholarship, $5550 a year in fed. pell grants, and a little over $1000 in loans. that still leaves me with over $8000 out of pocket. ;w; ;;;

and i've looked into this; there's no one to drive me down (the only other person i know going to boston school is living there) and the bus is $18 round trip per day. (you can pay $73 for a pass for 10 one way trips, but that won't last long.)

and don't worry bells. the thought of driving scares me too, even though i don't COMPLETELY suck at it.

Yes I do.  James K. Polk is their best song, bar none.

Allow me to interject:

Five hours of Adventure Time on Cartoon Network

suddenly! A WILD ZEN APPEARS!
My my, aren't you lovely~

Bella

ZEN-SAAAAAAAAN!!! *hugs*

The extent of my familiarity with They Might Be Giants is limited to the opening theme of Malcolm in the Middle. :\

My knowledge of Polk is limited to the Mexican-American War, that he got us the Southwest and all...

Watched a bit of Adventure Time today. I'm confused, what the HELL was that supposed to be? D:

NejinOniwa

To the best of my knowledge, that show is about as comprehensible as egg yolk butter sandwich dolphin rap.

@kraus: the extent of my knowledge on james k. polk is that he was a president of the US in the 1800's, early to mid 1800's if i remember right. :3

Adventure Time is <3

James K. Polk was our (the United States) 11th President from 1845 to 1849.  During his term we fought a war with Mexico (netting us the Southwest and California), negotiated the Oregon Territory away from Great Britain, opened the US Naval Academy, the Smithsonian, and established an independent treasury.  Having accomplished all of these goals he had set for himself (except for bringing Texas into the Union, which John Tyler had done to spite him) he sought no second term and retired home to Tennessee.  Polk was a protege of Andrew Jackson.  Health ruined by his term of office Polk died after only 103 days of retirement.....

I have a biography.
