Nice, Pent.

I have a skirt that's cute, sensibly long (about knee length), has belt loops and the deepest pockets I've ever seem on a skirt, praise the lord.

Nichi

...I want pics of this *w*

(I did buy a skirt kinda like that back in February; the pockets are deep enough to hold my phone :3

Goujer (she/her)

I wish I could go on a trip but I'm stuck in a cube.

Nichi

Ahh. I kinda wish I could have stayed longer, but I have to return to work tomorrow, so it was best if I came home today

So guys, my local pharmacy still sells morphine over the counter.  I went in and asked for some, they gave it to me, no questions asked.

Wow. Is it enough morphine to make you feel like a Power Ranger? </lame_joke>

So, I'm seriously considering getting a new phone, so I can play Pokémon Go; many of my coworkers already do, and it looks cool...but my Galaxy S3 needs to be on KitKat, and my wonderful provider won't issue an update for this phone they still sell for $175 on their website, so it's stuck on an outdated version of Jellybean.

For what use is that sold OTC? If they tried to do that in the US, thousands would die. (We're in the midst of a pretty serious opiate addiction problem from doctors overprescribing painkillers and people getting hooked.)

It's one of those ancient cough mixtures.

So, I did upgrade my phone after all...kinda. The Galaxy Amp 2 is basically a repackaged Galaxy S3 with some differences; it doesn't feel as nice, the camera doesn't take as big of pictures, the screen brightness isn't auto-adjusting, it lacks an indicator LED for charging \ new messages, and it lacks a gyroscope, but it does get better reception and faster network speeds in exchange. Performance wise, it's just like my old S3, just without routinely overheating and having more options to improve battery life*
When not playing Pokémon Go; that thing eats batteries for lunch

Which, as for what I'm doing with my old S3, I'm currently in the process of installing Cyanogenmod on it; something I wanted to do, but it was too high-risk when it was still my primary phone (As, because it's an unusual model variant, there were more risks involved than if I just had a plain Verizon version instead). If this works, I'll probably further experiment with it.

My current device is a BlackBerry Passport.  Got it a few months ago when my OnePlus One started having battery issues.

Huh, interesting. I take it the dosage is minuscule enough for it to not be dangerous? Any reason why it's still used?

Good luck with the new phone and modding experiments, Pent!
