Am I the only person here whose parents never monitored their internet use, like, ever?  Or anything else really.

Temperature dropped so of course I went out in shorts.  Hello, 60 degree temperature range my old friend....

Nichi

@Stew: I think just you and Kari, really; I admit, before mom finally let up, I found some clever ways around being unable to post on forums and the like; by making it look like I was taking notes on a game I was playing, like whatever Zelda I was playing currently, via Notepad, and then paste my "notes" into the message box and click to post -w-;

Remember, everyone, that even though your mothers may not be watching you anymore, you're still being monitored.
YOU COULD HAVE PREVENTED THIS

sks963

hi,everyone, long time no see.why you suddenly talking about parents monitored?wow, dont worry,if you finally grow up so that you can indepand from parents charge, you will still be monitored by gov :-\
I cant define that im strong life ,but my lifeblood is certainly hard.

My parents monitored me by asking to look something up on my iPod Touch and then go through my browser history and my notifications and confront me about anything suspicious.

If only they could see me now. XD

Just let your parents know that they don't need to monitor you because the government already does that for you.
A dark future for America is waiting perhaps...

as i said, Richard Simmons.

My dad has never monitored my internet activity, probably because he doesn't know how to use a computer and assumes I'll keep myself from getting into too much trouble. (Obviously wrong on that last one...)

Also, Kari, that job sounds awesome!

@Bella: That must be nice, TBH

...and now, how I spent my day (Trip to Tyler \ Great Amiibo Raid)

It all began just a few minutes before 3PM. After dropping off dad at work, I set out on adventure, with my first stop being the larger Goodwill.

While there, I noticed they had a gigantic CD selection...except a lot of the stuff I wanted was missing the disc (2 copies of the same Soundgarden CD...and *both* were missing the disc). However, I did find 4 CDs that were all together and in good shape (Iron Butterfly, The Offspring, Keane, and Peter Gabriel), and noticed they had a section of computer stuff; which I glanced through, briefly considering buying an internal wi-fi card for 2k. I also ran into one of my dad's former coworkers from the hospital, who remembers me. Didn't browse the clothes, since they were a bit too busy for me to feel comfortable, but I made a decent haul with the CDs. After that, I decide to set out to Goodwill Computer Works...only to find a sign on their door saying "Closed today; we're moving to [the Goodwill I was just at]", which explains that section I was browsing.

I then set sail for Gamestop; finding Samus, and chatting with the guy working there about Amiibo (He has an impressive collection; quite a few of the rare ones), before going down to the nearby Walmart; where I found some of the Veggie Sticks...in a 6-pack (Considered, but passed, as I just want one bag to try it).

Next stop was the smaller Goodwill...and it was a dud; didn't really find anything I wanted, and didn't browse clothes too deeply since I briefly glanced over and nothing stood out. I then took an improptu detour to the Salvation Army, because it wasn't that far from where I was...and they were about to close in 15 minutes, so I didn't even try to look at clothes, instead speedrunning the aisles in case of anything big that stood out to me.

I then go to the second Walmart; on the southeastern end of town. It was a long trek, and made even worse by making a wrong turn and having to use a school parking lot to turn around and get back on track, but the trip ended up being worthwhile; as I grabbed a case of Pibb Xtra (Which I can't find back home, although it is easier to find than Moxie or Cheerwine; which I never got a chance to go out to the store I get those at).

Initially, my next plan was to get food, and then go meet up with dad...but I still had about an hour, and traffic wasn't that bad, so I set out for the Walmart, Gamestop, and Target that were on Broadway, just to get them out of the way. The first 2 didn't have anything of interest, but Target proved to be well worth my time; they had Donkey Kong. After grabbing my Dong (heh heh), I proceed to browse the lingerie section to see if I could find a cute bra, which I did...and sadly, I ended up with a size too small and didn't realize it until hours later (Maybe I can invest in one of those back extenders, or just break it in).

Next up, I went to pick up burgers, and then went to meet up with dad. They messed up my order in a small way (I said pickles and onions, but they gave me just pickles), but it wasn't that big of a deal; it was still good. I got out my laptop shortly after to check my bank account; finding I was doing better on money than I thought I was. Thus, I set out once more; for the final wave.

My first stop was Best Buy, which didn't provide anything of value (I did see the Majora's Mask edition New 3DS...but I wasn't in the mood to overdraw my bank account), so for lulz, I decided to browse Marshall's; even though I didn't really find much last time besides a bra. I saw some dress I liked...but one was far too expensive, and the other was Bella-sized (But she wasn't around, so I couldn't see if she was interested). While browsing swimsuits, I saw a few I liked but were too smal or too expensive...except one; that the price was just right and was in my size...so I discretely took it to the dressing room (With a random guy shirt picked out; claiming the swimsuit was "something I'm holding onto for my girlfriend"), and tried it on; finding it fit perfectly and comfortably, with Kari remarking "even I want it" when I sent a pic to her. Thus, I bought it; as I geared up for my next major stop.

Next in line was Toys R Us. I found Toad, and nearly bought him...but passed when I found Mega Man. I might have bought both, but given Amiibo are $1 more expensive at TRU compared to every other store, and I still had a few more stops I wanted to make, I chose to pass on Toad for now; given Mega Man is harder to find and I have a bit more use for him.

I then go down to Game-X-Change, where I didn't see much of interest, but chatted with one of the employees about Amiibo, before I walked down to Hastings; where I was very tempted by some DVDs I saw (Final season of Warehouse 13 being the most expensive one, followed by the first Cardcaptor Sakura movie). Looking at my watch, seeing it was about 9:05, I decide to make a mad dash to the mall; since I remembered that they close at 9:30, and I wanted to check the final Gamestop for Amiibo.

Unfortunately, they close at 9 on Thursdays, so I decided "hey; Barnes & Noble is open until 10, so I'll go there"...and they also close at 9 on Thursdays; they only stay open until 10 on Friday and Saturday. Thus, I walked to the next-door CVS, picked up a drink, and was about to go meet up with dad and wait for time to go home...when spontaneously I decided to drop in at the Brookshire's that was across the street; buying a type of tea I've wanted to try but forgot to check Target for (Hibiscus tea. I seem to recall Bella mentioning it to me ages ago?), and a bag of BBQ Flavor-Blasted Goldfish, because I wanted some sort of snack besides candy.

With that completed, and with everything neatly packed away in my bag in the trunk, I go to meet up with dad; as I begin to type this out to pass the time. By the time the nightshift guy showed up, I had this basically finished, and was able to pack up my laptop and get back on the road; heading home...although I have to wash my bedsheets first thing when I get in, before I can sleep. At least I'm off tomorrow.

In fact, I'm waiting on the sheets to finish drying, so I can sleep. In the meantime, I was able to check over my stuff and make some adjustments to my temporary Amiibo shelf (I really need a bigger one). Expect pics tomorrow :3
