i am fucking exhausted. between packing, prepping food, cooking, picking people up, checking on the cats after my dad went into the ER, and going into the ER myself, i am drained. doesn't help that i did a good amount of running around today as well. at least Steve was there with me basically the whole time. i really picked a good one this time.

on the downside, i'm still fucking drained and think i'm going to skip my second halloween party, tomorrow night. i have to work a night shift, meaning i won't get there till 11 (it runs 8-1am), i still have this damn finger to worry about (ER visit) and think i'm catching a cold. and on top of it all, the mere thought of going is enough to exhaust me further. so yeah, it pains me to say so, but i'm probably gonna skip it. also i won't be sleeping in my own bed until friday night.

i sort of want to play CaH tonight.

Tell Steve that he's awesome. Also, whenever I move up there, I challenge him to Smash Bros; any version (N64, Melee, Brawl, Project M, 3DS, or Wii U) -w-

I'm also tired as well. My feet are sore (Trying to get these new shoes broken in), and I feel like I'm trying to come down with a cold (Fending off a sore throat; which, cold drinks are making it feel worse :\ ). At least I'm not as bad off as one of my coworkers, whom was sent home because he was sick as a dog (He told me the symptoms and I told him "go talk to a manager to see if you can go home; you need to rest").

Speaking of managers, I told one of them the problems I was having with one of my coworkers, so maybe something will be done about him. Granted, IDK how much longer I'll be staying here, but at least maybe it'll straighten him out so he'll show some respect to whomever my successor is.

i'm glad things are going a little smoother there; even with you getting sick, at least you haven't had any bitchy moments with customers/coworkers (yet).

if we can synchronize times, i think he'd be game for a game of CaH if you're up for it, too.

on the other hand, i've been here 6 years and i'm approaching 28k posts
i get the feeling i may have the chance to break 30k before the year is through

So far, today is kinda "bleh"; mostly because I'm feeling down over my situation, plus that guy at the hospital not answering my calls. It feels like I'm running out of time, and yet I still don't have a solid plan in place on how to get out of here :[

"went to work. by the time my break rolled around it was just me and 2 other people. had a customer share some of her candy with me (twas good). post-break things got fricken' psycho. had a coworker ask me for a ride home. was reluctant since it was in the opposite direction. last customer of the night decided to "pay it forward" and gave me $5 for gas. was kept late due to cleaning. was randomly asked to work tomorrow, accepted for the extra pay. drove coworker home, drove back and decided to bother Steve at work since i was gonna be in the area anyway. completely missed the gas station. managed to track Steve down and totally interfered with his work ethic or lack thereof. he gave me many greatful smooches. picked up a frozen dinner. got gas. saw a skunk wandering around on the drive home. let the cat in, ate, watched the new Steven Universe. now i wait for Steve to get home and rest my tired feet/back."

So, feeling a little better today. Actually got in contact with that guy at the hospital...although he doesn't have a position for me yet. Still, the fact he remembered, and I actually got in contact with him, was nice; maybe I won't have to abruptly move. I'm still keeping that on the table, though :\
