So I guess I'm a legal adult now
What's in your hand, back at me. I have it, it's an oyster with two figures of your favorite Touhou characters. Look again, the figures are now vials of the Hourai Elixir. Anything is possible when your waifu smells like Old World and not a man. I'm a frog.

Once I figured out what was going on with the sight (had to aim a little lower and to the left of the target) I managed to do pretty well! Much better than I'd done with my air pistol at any rate.

@Cocks: *gives you cake* -w-

My stomach is messed up this morning, and also feeling a bit depressed over my situation; as I now realize how close I am to Black Friday, and feel like my chance of landing another job in this short of time is nearly nonexistent ;_;

I had an interesting day. I have everything typed up on my laptop, so I'll post it in a bit; for now, going to soak in the tub

EDIT: Here we go. This is long-winded, so be ready for it

Today got off to a godawful start. It all began when I got up; my stomach was messed up, plus I was still feeling down about my situation. I left early for work to get something for breakfast; aiming for a sausage biscuit with a bottle of orange juice...but McDonald's credit card machine was down, and I didn't have enough cash, so I had to rush down to Subway (Just across the parking lot; next to Gamestop), get breakfast there, rush back to Walmart, eat, and then clock in and get to work. To be honest, the food was ok, but honestly needed some sort of sauce to it; as it was very dry.

When I clocked in and got out on the floor, while the people I like were there, my boss was there for god knows what reason, and then while I'm straightening up my shelves (As I usually do in the morning), I have the wonderful discovery of my least favorite customer was in; an old lady that everyone in the store, the store manager included, is sick of dealing with.

Said customer unfortunately saw me and stopped me to go into this long spiel on how someone in sporting goods yelled at her and they overcharged her for her fishing license. The entire time, I'm wishing maybe my boss would find me, yell at me for standing around, and give me the leverage to slip away. Thankfully, she saw someone she was waiting to talk to, whom was busy with another customer, so she left me to talk to him; as I went back to what I was doing.

Everything thereafter was fine; did some phones for people, including one that I kinda like (It's a huge phone that dwarfs Flonne III in size...and comes with what they call a Bluetooth "Buddy"; which looks like a small cell phone, and can be used for taking calls while leaving the larger phone in your purse or jacket. Here's an article about it; with pics). When I went on my 15-minute break, I called that guy at the hospital again; he wasn't there, but I left a message just in case.

By the time I went on lunch, since McDonald's credit card machine was still down, I decided to get lunch at Wendy's (Also located across the parking lot). Sadly, while the sign said they do have wifi, I couldn't figure out how to connect to it, so I was left offlne. Thus, I typed this out into a text file while trying to ignore the godawful country music playing on the radio. The food is a nice change of pace from the usual, even if it didn't agree with me.

When I got back, the rest of the day went pretty well; had some issue with an older couple needing help with phone equipment (Mostly in trying to help them figure out what she needs to complete their project; nothing bad, but exhausting)...all the while, one of my coworkers had the misfortune of dealing with an irate customer on a return (Apparently someone tried to claim he was being racist for not doing a return on the card that is clearly labeled as "nonrefundable"). Apparently it was bad enough that loss prevention was monitoring those people to make sure the situation doesn't escalate any further. Glad it wasn't me...but I feel very sorry for the coworker that had to deal with that.

After that, I got off work; going by the AT&T Store, which I found out they are hiring. So, I plan to put in my application there soon :3

Right now, I have the house to myself...and decided "hey; I'll see if Adventure Time is on". Unfortunately, Dish is having some sort of contract dispute with Turner; as Cartoon Network is currently blocked out, among a few other channels (Excluding, for some reason, TBS and TNT). Granted, I do have the first season on DVD, as well as seasons 3 and 4, so... -w-

EDIT2: Seems the sign was wrong; while the AT&T Store is hiring, they're hiring at every location but the one here; the closest one hiring is a 2+ hour drive >_<

Chocofreak13

that sucks, bro. >>; (also, if i wasn't getting you the shiny for christmas, i'd know what to get you, lol.)

work yesterday was tiring but at least i always had something to do. i was assigned to restock candy in the morning but between the shelves already being 75% full (i think they got a shipment in and wanted to see if they could put it out) and there being so many customers, i barely got anything done on that front, lol.

got a call from a kid i mentor yesterday and made the mistake of agreed to pick him up for the Pelham club today. Windham club, Arty, and the same kid tomorrow, and work friday. thank fuck i don't have anywhere to go on saturday. my gas tank is gonna be thrashed.

also i opened a bank account today. feels weird having one for the first time in 15 years.

Ordered Bakugan: Battle Brawlers and Megaman Starforce: Pegasus (Japanese version) from Amazon.

@Kari: Mmm. I opened my first bank account right after I was hired at the hospital; mom let me borrow $50 to get that started, so I could setup direct deposit as quickly as possible :3

...you know, random thought: am I alone in that when I hear someone mention something made with cashmere, my mind always drifts to the song, Kashmir?

Chocofreak13

i've never heard it, so i can't relate on this front.

also, 50 bucks? was there a minimum balance, or just a minimum balance for direct deposit?

@leaf: sweet, but how are you gonna play the japanese one?

Nichi

Minimum first deposit to open my account
(Also, I'd link to Kashmir, but I know you don't like long songs, and it's like 9 minutes long, so...)

Chocofreak13

thanks anyway, it sounds interesting.

also, that's kinda BS. when you come here we'll get you set up with this bank, lol.

What bank are you using?
(If it's DCU, I'm sure Bella will approve of our use of it -w-)

Chocofreak13

actually i was suggested to use DCU, but idk where there are any branches around here. tbh i know nothing of them other than "i THINK someone i know has an account there...?". i went with Service Credit Union, the one my mum and sister have. i was tempted to go with Merrimack Valley Credit Union (my mum, grandpa, and boyfriend all have accounts there, and boyfriend's mum works there), but the closest branch is next to my work, meaning if i needed to take out money on the go i couldn't.

I dunno... I can read r00ns, but my Japanese isn't very good. Luckily I've played enough of the game.

Tbh I only got the Japanese version because it was the cheapest.
