@Genpop: So I was doing "research" for my Programming For Games research paper and the instructor suggested I look through her library of old computer magazines for leads and stuff, so I pulled down this giant stack of GameInformer (I believe that was the magazine?) from like 2006 - 2007

also, i'm trying to feel better and i was good this morning but i appear to have gone downhill as the day has gone on. i seriously want to go home and go to bed.

btw, raspberry tea is one of the greatest things ever and we should every day thank cthulhu that we can have the opportunity to drink this miraculous beverage.

@Bella: I think I have some of those issues lying around somewhere. TBH, I stopped caring about Game Informer after they changed their format a few years ago :\

Also, sometimes those old fanatic game articles are amusing; like one I found floating on the internet a few years ago, which was made sometime in 1996; where a person predicted the N64 would die due to having no games (A complaint about every Nintendo system from then onward), the Saturn would die due to Sega's incompetence (More or less spot on; considering Sega got a bit too cocky with their success), and the PlayStation would die because "the name sounds stupid" (Probably the most laughable of them all), and everyone would quietly go back to their TurboGrafx-16. Coupled the site's layout being the sort of stuff you'd see on GeoCities back in the day, and you had comedy gold xD

feeling better today, though i have both a literal and a metaphorical headache. the literal is likely from a lack of caffeine which i am now remedying. the metaphorical was from comcast shutting off our stuff despite us paying our bill---a call to them determined that somehow we got signed up for the movie channels (which we didn't sign up for, didn't know about and didn't use), and now mum is on the phone yelling at people because our bill is too high and she's trying to reduce it. i'm a wee bit nervous because she's talking about taking away the expanded package (giggidy), which comprises about 75% of the channels i watch. >>;

i really need to get Tereby up and running so that i can cut my cable box out of the equation. >>;

It snowed some here.  Also discovered a new game place in town.  They've got SNES, Gamecube, and Game Boy games.  So basically everything I need.
