I find it sad shes being prosecuted for planting a vegetable garden. Of all the ways to use money, they decide to prosecute a woman for planting veggies.

So, while looking for the sugar, I found an unopened pack of a lemon-flavored slushie mix that they used to sell at Kroger. It expired in January 2001 -w-;;;

Hooray! My game programming class actually went well! I impromptu'd like half of my game review but our instructor didn't care, because some of the others just recited their reviews from memory (and one guy didn't do his!)!! Also, my game "pitch" wasn't great, but it was also roughly on-par with the others' in terms of complexity (i.e. we all proposed 2d games), and everyones' ideas were creative, reasonable and doable!

I ended up on a team with a guy who already has experience in programming, and a girl who's in her final semester (so she has programming experience as well - although I didn't talk to her last week and she wasn't in today, so i don't know a lot about her). So far he seems smart and not-jerk-y, which is good, and he's also a *nix user, which is also good! Seriously, it's lonely being the only Unix user in class, so it's good to be working with somebody who uses Linux on a regular basis.

Also, it seems fortunate that both teams ended up with visual artists/people with drawing and/or design experience.

As for the C++ class, it looks like I'll be able to complete the class projects and exercises on Eve (i.e. it doesn't require any fancy Windows-exclusive IDEs, I can probably just do all my assignments in Emacs (just as god (Stallman) intended)!)
