yay, they didn't threaten you with bodily harm! that's a good sign! : D
also, thanks for the info, mum mentioned that they have A LOT of mopeds there but she seems super-skeptical. that news, however, says to me that this is where i'm going to get my moped. -w-

@simon: both of those are sooper-old. though i'll check the gallery and see if we already have them, and if we don't, thanks for the downloads.

aaaaand i just realized i lost a .swf file that we hadn't uploaded to the gallery yet.FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU---

Finger Lakes would be okay too, New York is a little far to stalk somebody but it's still not as bad as West Virginia. *hides in bushes and watches* 0___0

@Genpop: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHGFUSAHJSDJHDFGHHJKLKJHCXSASDFGHJKM, FINANCIAL AID.

I JUST SIGNED LIKE 20+ PAGES OF DOCUMENTS WITHOUT READING A THING BECAUSE I'D NEED TO BE A GODDAMN LAWYER TO INTERPRET THAT DENSE WALL OF LEGALESE. I HOPE I DIDN'T SIGN MY SOUL OVER TO SATAN OR CONSENT TO BE USED IN MEDICAL EXPERIMENTATION OR ANYTHING.

*gives you PDP-11...coffee mug*

Chocofreak13

financial aid will take any chance to screw you over for lots and lots of funds and possibly your first-born child : D
lucky you that you're going to community college since it'll be a lot cheaper (and thus, more manageable) for you : D

I'd kill for a PDP-11 coffee mug. 0.0

According to my dad (who is handling most of this stuff because he's the money-conscious person in the family) we're only taking about half of the loan money offered, because it's an amount he KNOWS he'll be able to pay back when that time comes. He'd much rather pay for things out-of-pocket and not have to deal with the high interest rates associated with student loans. For example, the textbooks I bought were all purchased on Amazon (slightly cheaper than buying at the school bookstore) and payed for by credit card.

And yeah, the tuition isn't bad at all, even without the FAFSA grants we'd probably be able to manage it without any big loans.

Chocofreak13

that's a wise idea, my dad payed my years out of pocket for the most part. i think i took some loans but not much by comparison to other students. still enough to weigh on my mind, though ;v;

you might also try chegg.com in the event amazon lets you down. me, my sis, and our friend colleen all rent/rented textbooks through chegg when the time came.

I've considered a community college just to get basic stuff out of the way, but I have more important things to focus on, so it'll come after I move out and settle down...and maybe have a nicer car. At least, with my current employer, I don't have coworkers badgering me about how I must go to college >_>;

Chocofreak13

after you get here we can find you a nice CC in the area. or, if you'd prefer a private college, maybe SNHU.

So, I'm up to $10 for my trip savings. A slow start, but I'm sure by this time next month, it'll be further along
