My father speaks French, which comes out time to time when my brother or I ask him what something in French means.

Me's speaking German (natively), English (I'd say quite proficient), and a little French. Plus, I can translate Latin, but I don't think that counts here ^^

I would like to learn Japanese some day.  In fact, I remember the Japanese version of Hakumen's speach from Calamity Trigger.  Once you've gotten the crap beaten out of a few times by him on your first time playing the game, you'll remember it.  That's what happened to me.

i've often found myself pronuncing english words with a japanese accent automatically....and i grasp japanese grammar enough that i can form a sentence reasonably well. speaking? i know how to ask for water, where the bathroom is, ask for police/help, and introduce myself, which is enough to survive, i guess.
