@simon: i paid for a VPN (or, rather, their torrenting proxy service) and it was hell to set up and annoying to deal with and unless i get REALLY paranoid about my browsing or somehow develop a steady-enough income i doubt ill sign up again. though i agree, they are smart to use.

finished Jem S1 last night, done 2 comic pages. working on a cosplay for a friend, and we're going to the flea market tomorrow. back in touch with a different friend(an old one!), and working out alternative housing for AB. keeping busy sure is nice. ^^

@Kari: You're right; legally they can't make me work for 7 straight days. My bro-in-law had to a few times, but then again, he's in management, so that's likely why (Still feel sorry for him for the time he had to work 2 weeks straight because the other manager was away)

@Cockle: I'm really sorry, that sounds rough. : ( Anything involving intestinal upset / vomiting / other digestive issues freak me the fuck out, if I was in your position I'd probably be in a ball crying already. ;^;

@Genpop: I thought dad's cooking (or the sheer epicness of BSG marathons) purged the illness from my body, but I developed a low fever again later in the and NOW I have a cough. And a fever, and body- and headaches still. >:z I called into work saying that I was going to (proactively) call in sick for Saturday (in case I wake up feeling like shit again tomorrow... the boss never likes last minute too-sick-to-work calls...), but my boss just said she won't need me in on Sunday or Monday either. Which, gah, means I may not work up there again this season. (The resort closes for the season on April 7.)

On one hand, I'm glad I'm being spared work, and won't pass whatever mutant form of Rapid Onset Rheumatoid Arthritis And Upper Respiratory Fuckery I'm experiencing on to anyone else, on the other, I'm bummed I won't be making an extra ~$100 - $200 before the season ends. >:/
