EDIT: well, stew can't make it. maybe this is just the annoyance talking, but maybe we should just cancel the whole shebang, since i see it falling apart on us. >>;

in other news, the source of my annoyance: can i punch my cousin? please? cause she's getting a little condescending for my taste. my grandpa asked me to get ice and water for the glasses for dinner, and as i was about to she decided to step in, grabbing a measuring cup and filling it with ice since "this way's easier". i cracked a joke about how i was "doing it wrong", and she decides to say "not everything is an attack on you." (can't remember the rest.) i tell her i was joking, and she's just like, "no you weren't." so i just walk away, back to the room i'm staying in, just thinking, "okay bitch, i think i know how i'm feeling better than you do. ><;;

(got called away to dinner in the middle of a post)

now for the second annoyance of the night. my cousin maria came over for dinner, and afterward my cousin joey (nina (first person mentioned) and maria's brother) and his girlfriend maria (confusing, right?) came over for awhile. the visit was nice, if a bit noisy, and i chatted and exchanged baking tips with (cousin) maria. when they all left, though, i noticed a bad smell in the air, and found out that the room i'm staying in was overtaken by the smell left by (cousin) maria too. ><;;;;
so i'm unplugged in the living room now. let's hope i don't get sick. ><;;

If it makes you feel better, I had a rather crappy day at work early on. When I got there, I was put on the make line immediately...and nobody told me what to prep for the Wednesday night buffet. So, I'm left trying to figure out what to do as nobody was around. Then I get swamped with orders all at once, and still nobody is around to help; as I'm frantically trying to make all of these pizzas. Then I start getting yelled at by one of the waitresses, because I messed up on one of the pizzas because of the weird way she listed the toppings on the ticket. Finally, as I was starting to seriously consider going on strike over their poor scheduling, some people finally came over and helped me knock down all of those tickets.

From there, the night was fine. Although, the sexist jokes of one of the delivery guys and the guy who was helping me with the flood of orders were pissing me off >_>;

So, I woke up this morning with a messed up stomach >_<
At least I don't have work until 5PM, so I have some time to rest

I feel absolutely horrible and shitty and useless and want to crawl into a hole and die right now because I decided not to go into work today and my boss yelled at me when i called saying I wasn't coming in. And I'm also panicking about getting fired and want to cry about that, so...

@Kari: I decided not to go in because of the shitty weather this morning (I hate driving in the snow/ice and am thus very inexperienced in driving in those conditions), but honestly, it hasn't gotten worse today and I'm really, really regretting not going because it looks like we aren't going to hit like predicted. ><;;

it's an understandable thing, it was miserable here overnight. and you live in a heavily wooded area, so no sense in you pulling a grandpa bernard on us. (my biological grandfather on my dad's side died when my dad was three by wrapping his car around a telephone pole.)
