I actually had a job interview today. No shit; somebody actually showing even the tiniest bit of interest in me. However, I missed it because instead of calling my cell phone like any normal company would do, the fucktards at UPS sent me an e-mail; which ended up in my spambox, and I didn't see it until just a few minutes ago.

I almost want to say "fuck it" and never use Yahoo Mail again because of how royally they just fucked me over. That may as well have been my only chance at a job, as they are the only people to have contacted me after a year of hunting

@Pent: I agree with Kari, you should go into the store(?) and talk to them. They'll understand if you didn't get the email, technology isn't perfect after all. :/

@Kari: I'm actually more surprised than anything, since I applied there on a lark (and to sate dad and Stew's desire to see me do some job-hunting) and wasn't expecting to get called back.

It'd be about as perfect a job as I could get in this area - although I'm a little overwhelmed by the thought of having to work with people all day and the pay isn't exactly great, it'd be nice having SOME income and even better being able to have a complimentary season pass. Not to mention being able to work in a pretty place and getting to meet people with similar interests. ^^

still, job talk makes me uncomfortable since it's such a touchy topic around here. normally i am a calm, semi-sedate person. occasionally i go into RAGE mode. but there are a few topics that can put me into a panic attack at the mere thought. which is odd to me since i don't have a panic-related disorder and i'm not afraid of the usual stuff to that degree (spiders don't make me flip out to an unreasonable degree, for instance). but then, i have a good deal of mental issues under my belt. everyone around here does.

nice on the job, though. :3

@Kari: I understand how you feel, people talking about medical issues/procedures can send me into a panic too. In particular things relating to teeth, eyes and surgery. o___o;;;
