It's an antique rocking chair her mom gave her; one of the oddball ones that uses springs and hinges that allow the actual seat to rock, while the base of the chair remains stationary. It's nice :3

So today I tested out my phone's video capabilities... not at all impressed with the mic. I'll probably use the external one and then sync A/V via Final Cut (if the Mac doesn't die before and I figure out that application)

@pent: what sucks worse is that i have no choice but to use these torrents. every so often they'll reconnect and keep downloading, but so far the only ones working are the two batch raws i found. >>;

@paul: well, cell phones can't do EVERYTHING. at least you have video on there, it sounds really cool. ^^

had a good enough day today, even with the rocky start. got 3 hours of poor sleep due to a 20-lb cat, got to the station 20 minutes early (which is more annoying than bad, actually), and was lugging around 2 more bags than i normally would. plus i couldn't find the teacher at first, and my shoulder was hurting all day due to the heavy load.
on the positive side, we had a field trip today to the boston public library. it's HUGE, and they have a large manga selection (some of them look at least 10 years old, so they were ahead of the library trend -w-). seems that anyone with a mass address can get a library card there, so i inquired about it and it seems that since i go to college in mass, i can get a card there, too. ^^
once i came home, i was more tired than i thought, and when i went to lie down i ended up falling asleep. ^^; it was good, though, i feel better.

So, just got back from my adventure. Of the manga I mentioned in my previous post, I bought volumes 9 and 10 of Bleach, volume 1 of Negima, volume 4 of Mahoromatic; most all of them were $5 or less >:3

I also have a Magic Trackpad for Fuuka; which was an open box clearance item at Best Buy
