@nej: i watched that, and thought it sounded familiar, and then i thought it was CV Wakamoto, the Nijiura Character, which it technically is since CV is voiced by Wakamoto himself, or at least clips or something, TL;DR: holy fuck i want that.

today, on the way to class, i bent down to pick up a penny (been finding plenty of those today...), and i dropped my ipod on the ground. as i was picking it up, i was approached by a meter maid who told me a vague and confusing yet intriguing story that it took me a few tries to understand: yesterday she had been to a goodwill in the area and had seen something that she thought would be perfect for me: Leather Overalls. she said they were $10, so i was intrigued enough to go. after recieving some vague directions, i went to class.
afterward, i set off with victoria in tow as we went downward in the direction of fenway park, the landmark centre, and blick art supplies, finding no goodwill along the way. we stopped in blick to get some directions (after some girl at the bus stop advised us that the closest one was over in back bay), and the nice girl in blick (her name was mia~) found the goodwill the meter maid was talking about, which it turned out was over on Comm Ave (two streets over starting in kenmore square). as we lamented the mistake, she drew us a crude map that we used (not without some getting re-lost) to find the goodwill. after about half an hour of walking down random streets and up comm ave itself, we FINALLY found the damn thing. (we then mentally cursed ourselves as it was right across from a green line T stop.) i went in and asked someone about the overalls, which she recalled as being in the halloween section. i searched.....but to no avail. determined not to make the trip a waste, i looked around for other things, and walked out with 2 items: a nice large purse (originally a baby bag, lol) for mum with a design on the front like what you'd see on a china plate: 2 women, a man, and a boy, with scenery, all in a light blue. the bottom is a blue woven fabric that also comprises the handles and lining. breaking up the two sections are two pieces of ribbon, with a bow made of the two accenting it. for me, i got a black and red nehru shirt (a chinese-style shirt) with a rose and butterfly embroidered on one side. all in all, the day was long, slightly frustrating (i called my grandparents' house 6 times and got through to grampy none of those times), and worth the $20 spent. -w-

So, after some frustrations over being blamed for losing mom's notebook of coupons, she got called by Wal-Mart's customer service desk; since they found it (Mom had a sticker with her name, address, and phone number on it). So, that's been fixed ^_^

Also, after I bought myself some snacks at a dollar store, I found $5 lying on the ground while walking back to my truck; effectively getting my Coke and M&M's for free >:3
