While we're on this topic, no, my bag isn't a bag of holding, it is a swissgear/wenger (swiss army knife laptop bag).

Also, Iowa Apple Store had 78 MBPS download speed, wtf.

Nichi

@Kriz: I want that connection o_o

Well, the sore throat from yesterday is gone...but sadly, I don't have any energy now. I might try going back to sleep soon, to see if that would help :\

Chocofreak13

@kriz: nice. -w-

@pent: a nap sounds like it would be helpful, yeah. :\

Greetings from the badlands of South Dakota, I'm directly above Pentium now.

I'm not even sure if I want to ask why ^_^;;

Although, I'm a bit irritated at the moment

Bella

It's because South Dakota is a culturally-lifeless, flat, ugly wasteland.

While I realize that many people find that sort of landscape beautiful, I, personally, do not see what is attractive about it.

Although I'm a mountain/hill/forest/lake/river/dense population-center/cityscape-person, and absolutely obsessed with trees (especially evergreens) and generally-green landscapes (at least in the summer and spring, I like places with white winters), so I'm fairly biased against the landscape of the Great Plains.

I also really dislike deserts...

And the landscape of the US West in general, at least until the very edge of the Pacific Rim.

Chocofreak13

i'm not a touristy person. while the landscape might be pretty, that's not really enough to inspire me to travel. >>;

btw guys, check this out. you might like the radio ad with it. xD

I'm not either, actually don't enjoy traveling. Seeing the entire country (many landscapes), getting to see Pentium and going to Apple headquarters is worth it all together though.

Also, one thing I don't find beautiful is dense populations. Architecture can be beautiful, but when the houses are 5 feet away or the population so ridiculous you can't walk around, it just completely ruins it for me and I consider it ugly.

@Bella: I agree. I'm more into more green places; trees & such, yo
Which is why you should come to East Texas at least once, even if it's only to see me. It's like a different world compared to the area of the state you mentioned going to ages ago :3

@Kriz: I enjoy travel, but I don't consider myself a tourist; I personally prefer the term adventurer :3
Although, generally when I travel, I usually have some goal in mind; I mean, I wouldn't waste my time on a big ball of twine unless I'm going to be in that area for something else (Like if I was spending a week with a friend who lives in that area)

In other news, an Amiga power supply is on the way. Once it arrives, I can finally test out the ones I have in storage
I also have a brand new copy of .hack//Outbreak, for PS2, coming in the mail next week, for anybody who might be interested to know

Krizonar

We're going straight through Dallas on the way home.
You'd have to tell us a more exact location of course though, since I forget what particular city you were in.  :P

Nichi

@Kriz: Ah. I'll PM you the details later today :3

So, eBay suggests I buy a Commodore 64 floppy drive and the collector's edition of Fallout: New Vegas as items that would go with my Amiga power supply ^_^;
I think if Fallout was on Amiga, Pit would own it
