@Choco: My phone literally has no ringtone support; it's either what's built into the phone or have it on vibrate. I'm considering upgrading to a different phone soon; since I really don't care much for the one I have right now (I preferred the one before it, honestly).

SleepyD

Ringtone: Okuu Alert.
Text Message Alert: Pi~chuun~ Scares the bejeezus out of me. Every time. Have no idea why I keep it.

Nichi

If my phone could support ringtones, here's what I'd probably have:

Primary ringtone: The Souls of Distortion -- Joe Satriani
Text message alert: Probably the "Ding" sound effect from Windows 3.1

I'd likely have custom ringtones for certain key people in my phone, if it could support it.

Chocofreak13

tracphones don't support ringtones for different people as far as i know, but that could just depend on the make of phone.

however, it DOES support changing the startup/shutdown sound, so if you ask i could send you ringtones so that you could have Chii saying "good morning" and "good night" when you start up/shut down your phone. :3

My phone can't even connect to a PC for that sort of thing; it's completely seperated from everything else.

Although there are some good things about the one I have now (It's a flip phone. Flip phones are cool), I still think the one I had before it was better. The funny thing is, the phone before was even more primitive than the one I have now, but I liked it more because there where a lot of useful shortcuts.

I treat cellphones as the next step up from a walkie-talkie... if they make and receive calls I'm satisfied.

@Bella: That's pretty much how my parents look at it

On a unrelated note, involving phase 1 of my master plan, my mom unknowingly got me a book out of the stuff that didn't sell at my aunt's garage sale this past weekend, which is actually going to help with one of my problem areas on the GED; a copy of Geometry for Dummies (Seeing as the only thing involving geometry that I'm good at is Geometry Wars...which has less to to do with geometry than Half-Life has to do with theoretical physics). Now, if only there had been some books on the other 4 parts of math; which that as a whole is my problem area (Everything else I've scored pretty high on with this practice test; with reading and writing as my strongest categories)

Chocofreak13

@pentium: mine can't connect to a computer either.....if you can get internet on your phone, even the limited 50-cents-for-30-seconds internet tracphone has, you can get custom ringtones. :\
i have a flip phone too; is yours a black LG with the camera on the front?
oh, and i told you once that if you have any trouble with GED stuff, all of us here are pretty much specialists. ik bells is good at math (me too), nejin knows alot about science, stew's a history buff, and as the resident spelling/grammar nazi i can help with literature. :3

@bella: i like to bling my stuff out. i'd like to get a kawaii phone strap, but for right now i have a skull cell phone charm i made out of a broken keychain. :3

@Choco: Mine is a silver and black LG with no camera at all. It has internet access, but it crashes epically when I try to do anything; I can't even access Weather Channel Mobile like I could a year ago

With the GED, math is currently my only problem area, since I'm not that great with advanced math; it's is like a mindscrew with numbers! Of the categories, reading and writing have proven to be my strongest categories; while everything else I could use a little help at, but I think I can manage a passing grade. If I need some help with anything, I'll give out my primary e-mail address \ Yahoo Messenger name.

I think I'm gonna set up the Mac Mini again, it's just sitting around with nothing to do when this is plugged into the screen. It'll play STO fine, plus, even without a SSD, it's really quiet.

Nichi

I eventually want to get myself another Mac of some kind; I miss my bondi blue iMac G3...

Chocofreak13

i'd like a toy mac. :\

i think i'd put OS9 on it. :\

At work, they have a raffle going right now to win an iPad 2; which I'm debating over wither I want to buy tickets for it or not. Part of me want to give it a shot, since iPads are neat and get better battery life than my well-worn Pocket PC, but then part of me thinks about how much I'd prefer a MacBook instead...

Chocofreak13

eh, if it's free you could always sell it. couldn't hurt. :\

Yeah; I may buy some tickets and test my luck, because if nothing else, the money generated is going to a breast cancer charity, so I'd be helping to save the boobies
