OOP isn't... that bad... right?
I mean, sure, the programming projects I had were difficult, but it was a big project, and the hardest part was working with team members. As far as OOP concepts go, they're not too bad. I just forget what said concepts are called. heh

@stew: if it's a CS class, then you should get used to strange and "off" smells. haha

Oh I'm used to this whole campus smelling weird, especially after periods of prolonged or on/off heavy rain. And sudden temperature increases.

It's not CS though, German History, I've haven't had a computer class since middle school.

Hahaha, makes me think of what a techie friend (and computer science-major-dropout >>) once told me... something to the effect of, "If you ever get into computer science classes, you won't believe the weirdos you'll meet." I paraphrase.

Hum, maybe that's not a global occurrence: the computer science classes I took for minor were full of such super-average people that no one really stuck to my mind. Oh, one exception, this guy who felt necessary to interrupt the GUI class teacher EVERY TWO SENTENCES by declaring "how easy it would've been to do on Linux". I was embarrassed to use the same OS as he when he did that... xD

Oh well, on the other hand... most of the LGBT student group actives are CS majors. Dunno if they're just more likely to seek student groups, or if there's other correlation. ^^

@stew: ah. wet stuff (especially old wet stuff) always has a weird funk to it. heh

@Bellz: Maybe I'm weird myself, so I didn't notice, but it took the university anime club for me to find the crazy weirdos. Good weirdos though. haha People in the engineering school in general are an eclectic group anyway.

But yeah. Big computer science project + big 24-hour uni computer lab = awfully smelly computer lab.

The computer labs in my school are also incredibly smelly, but the people there are quite nice

What do people do in your computer labs? ._.; Never smelled anything strange in Tampere, now I'm too afraid to go back to make sure I wasn't imagining when I thought there were no odours... -.-
