Just a quick pic I did of PR1MOS-tan. Done it about 2 or 2 and a half hours. I may upload the SVG file in case anyone wants a gander at how I did the shading

Ooooooooh!  PR1MOS-tan looks awesome!  

Her clothes have very strong elements from the mid- to late 1700s, but a very modern/futuristic look.  If the late 1800s (Victorian) was closer to what you had in mind, I can see that too.  Several of the elements around in the 1700s were still used by then.  The low collar, though...very much late 1700s.  Sorry if I'm presuming too much about your inspirations, but she looks really cool, regardless.

I like the leggings/pants.  They help her look quite a bit more bad-ass.  Without them, she'd look too much like a "naughty" Disney princess.

I wonder.  Are her sleeves just sleeves, or is that one of those small sweaters/jackets that have been in fashion, recently?  Either way, it's a nice look.  Her pendant is a nice addition to break up the empty space around her neckline.

I admit I had no exact time period in mind...but I did try to make it old fashioned with a 70s/80s-ish spin (as PR1MOS was most popular in the 70s and 80s)

Thanks! I was thinking about giving her leg warmers, but I figured that may be too hokey for an OS-tan of her professionalism.

I envisioned it as a small jacket. And I'm glad you like her necklace, sometimes the small touches can add to the drawing overall.

This is really a finely crafted young woman, the likes of which I've not seen in a long time.  ^____^
PRIMOS-sama's eyes, for example, are glossy and exquisite when looked up close.  ^.^

But still trying to figure out what you've done differently with the shading.  Did you by any chance,..... use Path Insets?  @v@

(CTRL+( or CTRL+) to expand?)

^ I'm using good ol' object>clip>set for a lot of the shading. First I trace out a pattern following the lines of the folds, lower the opacity, and clip...

Course, now you're obliged to try out Insets/Offsets too.  ^.^

I tried showing this to the Goddess. I tried to convince her this was done to flatter, not demean, but this reasoning didn't work with her. Humph. An offense of this level was beyond the punishment of having any book or cane thrown at me, so I've been cast off to the land of the daemons to repent for my grievous blasphemies...chiefly, for depicting Unix-sama in three comical pictures, in every one alongside Slackware-chan. I think the thing that did me in was the cosplay part. Oh well, I probably should have seen this coming...But it could be worse, I could have PO'd a Windows-tan and got sent to DLL hell...

I gotta go now. Though maybe I can ask Plan 9-tan for a favor and she can bail me outta here...?
