Deal,... I'll resize the image to 600px width and link to the original (and maybe the uber-sized one).  However,....

1) I remove the image from there and repost here, just cause by now people won't know what the hell we're talking about.  -v-

2)  I am, after all, tampering with a gift to a dear friend, so I better get at least 100 words of swoonfulness for this sacrifice.  -.-

It's sooooooooooo incredibly beautiful! Really, I've been staring at that incredibly beautiful masterpiece of PC Linux OS-tan for at least a minute before trying to type! Also seeing it really made my day after coming home from a road trip today!

That was my reaction too when I saw her all finished as well Hope you had a good trip, too!

And I hope that you have a great time with your expedition, Bella!

Not sure where these mountains were taken from, but this is an actual, real, 100% PCLinuxOS wallpaper that I used for PCLinuxOS-tan's background. ^.^
I figured the bright scene and high altitude could help justify the lighting and the wavy hair respectively. ^.^

So that's where the background came from!
You may not have noticed but in soem of my Windows-tan pix (like the "International Incident" comic) I make the background look like the XP background Bliss

Yay, Bella-san likes her characters with nice, long, juicy legs (very CLAMP-like, I've always said), and I'm personally okay with it since it makes PCLOS-tan look nice and tall. ^__^

But anyhow, I still plan on writing a good swoonage, i just cant pop it off as fast as you can. Im not a swoonage master.  takes me longer to get a heart felt swoonage out.. tho just as a note.. since she STILL dosnt fit compleatly on the screen, you wont get a fill 100 word swoon, unless i get on a roll, in which case ill have butter on my pants.  You cant complain however, you didnt fully live up to your end of the bargain (tho i give you kudos *hands you the oatmeal bar* for enduring such pain as to resize it at all)

VMS-sama and OS/2 Warp-san:



NT-san (though I dunno what she should be wearing; maybe a kimono (a la 95-tan, or a battle suit...?) and, about frickin' time, a Hacchan, Pup-chan, and MSDOS-tan group pic (Hacchan's trying to keep PuppyLinux-tan from the hard drive; MSDOS-tan is hiding as usual):



I'm also working on a comic featuring Linux-sama and Slackware-tan, and, technically, Unix-sama(!!!) although she is never shown in the comic (but she does have one line)

Basically, it's Slackware-tan having a panic attack (at Unix-sama's feet no less) because she doesn't think she can ever compare to her hero and idol Unix-sama, while Linux-sama watches on (at one point thinking, "not THIS...again...")

Slackware-tan says something about not being worthy of being compared to Unix-sama, what with her spectacular legacy and all. Unix-sama agrees (would she do that...? I know she's supposed to have a "difficult" side...) and Slackware-tan loses it XD

And it ends with Slackware-tan bowing and leaving quite peacefully.

I know you have a thing with projection, but I never expected all that talk in that other thread about needing to buy the latest-hardware-plus-the-latest-software-else-you-fail-as-a-professional- artist to mean that you were actually using old hardware yourself!  Maybe a Packard Bell running a 486DX on 8 megs of RAM, a screen with only 16 colors, and 3.1-sama,.. no wonder you're so attached to her!  "He who yells the most has the most to hide!", now it finally makes sense!  ^.^

I thought you were just like the Cat complaining about page r*ping, so I foolishly adjusted the width so it would make the horizontal page bar disappear on what today accounts for "standard" screens.  But how petit bourgeouise of me not to realize you had the handicap of a smaller viewing area,... I betcha viewing the random image thread must be daily torture with those giant 1280x1024's.  How BLIND I was,... GOMEN!  I'm SO sorry!  ;^0^;

I know you've always drawn great hair, but somehow you're making it look very flowing and vibrant even at this stage in the game.  I'm liking that as you can see. ^___^

Not much to say on NT-san,.. been there done that to a certain extent, although pairing her up so close to mom lends itself to some jaw-dropping comparisons.  But the one that I KNOW I'll love is the one I've been hoping to see for quite a while.  At last a small tribute to our epic Puppy-chan installation!  ^v^
And although the sketchwork doesn't define the arm positions quite well yet, I think I definitely know where this is going.  I'll be watching this adorable Three Stooges trio closely!  ^___^

And I really wanted to do a rendition of a grown OS/2-san, and a battle-ready NT-san (in case nobody noticed, the theme is Great Warrior OS-tans related to NT-san XD)

Quite honestly, I think IBM is established well enough that they could easily muscle past M$'s objections, especially if the whole M$ vs FOSS turns into an all out patent war. Hopefully they open OS/2 up soon!
