well my imouto as one right now. they are more versitile with the tamagochi site. although i think they die much quicker these days, i mean leave it idle for some time and there goes the pet, dead due to crap beside it.

Fantastic work, and the hair is surprisingly fresh and original! ^v^

And don't worry,... Knoppix-tan skates, so I guess she's just trying to learn from example. ^___^

I actually read about KateOS a while back. It was just now I decided to do a drawing.

Knoppix-tan does skate, doesn't she? I dunno why KateOS-tan is, I just thought, she has to be skating XD

I want to do the colors in a red/orange scheme. I think she'd be most closely related with Zenwalk-tan (cause both are Slackware based and Xfce-using), though I think KateOS-tan would be taller.

I love your sketc- I mean masterpieces, they look so cool! You certainly are a great artist! I can't wait to see this in Uber-masterpeice mode, ne? ^o^

Something involving a few Vintage-tans, including a GEM OS-tan, Apple Lisa-tan(!) and Miggy-sama(!!). And maybe a few others.

You might be able to see where I'm going with this one...

Either GEM OS-tan running away from Lisa-tan (because of her shared heritage with GEM OS-tan's main "tormentor"), OR GEM OS-tan shaking hands with Lisa-tan to show that the Vintage-tans will have to get along and work together, ignoring their tumultuous pasts to 'survive'.

I was thinking about adding Windows 2.0-chan to the pic...but would she fit in with that time (IE, Windows 2.0 was still probably a "mainstream" OS [and 2.0-chan was probably still hanging with her Windows family] when GEM OS was aged [and already with the other Vintage-tans]...)

No problem with that.  Sometimes you want to give characters a little something random to liven them up a bit.  One of the reasons why a lot of the Console-tans fail is because most try too hard to emulate the system to a fault, without setting aside something unique.  The words "cowlick" and "scallion" have zilch to do with Windows ME, yet they're ME-tan's two most memorable traits.  ^^

Lisa-tan was released with the equivalent price in today's US currency $20,893. Meanwhile the Macintosh, release only a year later, was not even a 10th of that price and still sported almost all the same features and even some improvements.  (sure it didn't have the whopping 4MB of RAM!!!,... but one hardly saw the difference in the Lisa)
Even businesses (the main target) realized how overpriced she was and she just didn't sell.  You can read more about her here, including that even in 1989 which left poor Lisa-san scarred for life.... ;__;

In retrospect, I kinda think she was Apple's "Windows ME" -- perhaps not intentionally, but it certainly did highlight the Mac as the far better system in the eyes of the consumer.  -___-

Pippin-tan:  Very cool and sexy despite the legacy of the system itself.  ^.^
And the fact that you'll make her look like Generic Mac-tan is a neat way to tie the family roots.  ^.^
She's bound to rekindle my interest in the so-called "worst videogame console ever".

Leopard+iPhone:  Positively adorable, and besides a profile shot of Leopard I think would look fantastic.  ^v^
This I definitely look forward to seeing when completed, even if it takes a few months.....  ^.^
