Hm... maybe the name comes from dopamin (a chemical naturally produced in the body), but I also want to know where the character comes from? Who creates him/it (it looks like a robot)?

THE otoko tachi no nijikaku... which i shall guess to be "The men of Nijikaku"

So, my guess is that he is one of the developers of the game or something.

don't you know anything? that's from the open source fighting game called MUGEN, you can put in your own levels, characters, sounds, menu design, etc. etc.
this is merely a futaba themed version of it but if you really want the OS-tans in a fighting game you can also just get MUGEN and find the characters (user made) yourself on websites.
Though I think it'll be a bit hard to find the OS-tans

Weve discussed that before. We dont have a single decent pixel artist amungst us, and most of us are far too over tasked to deal with that anyways.

btw yeah none of us may be but there's plenty of other people who are, the OS-tan characters in that MUGEN version must have come from somewhere right.
