I ment the books.. Ive been purchasing the american translations as they come out.. havent even looked for a scanilation of it. hell.. the only scanalation i activly follow is aquastars negima.

Unfortunately AQS is a bit slow in their scanlations, making us wait for weeks for a batch of new chapters (of course, the wait is worth it).

I'm SOOO waiting for Chapter 165, where Nodoka imagines a threesome with Yue and Negi  ;010

Close to the end? I dunno... Akamatsu can still shed more light on the so-far underrepresented characters, like the cheerleading team and Zazie. It'll be quite a while before Negima ends that I'm sure.

It's already twice longer than Love Hina though, and still too many loose ends that need to be tied up. IMHO, i'd rather that Negima go on for at least up to 200 chapters or so.

well of course I want it to continue -_- and its not twice longer.. love hina rand for 14 volumes.. negima in the us is at 11... there arnt that many more scanilations out there

Well, just going by the actual japanese volume numbers, and Negima just seems that much longer with the various arcs and all (especially the festival arc).

putting collection by collection.. the volumes are just as thick. taking in account how many scanilations there are right now.. id say right now they are about even.   negima will be longer.. but i dont imagin too much longer.. tho I wish it would be.  I can imagin mr akamatsu is getting a little burned out on it tho

That's why Akamatsu takes breaks after each volume though, and even in chapters he takes "research breaks" to get more material for his manga.

If other mangaka can go 200+ chapters, Akamatsu certainly can.
