Okay, I think I'll end the day with a little eye candy.  ^__^
I know you're all DYING to see picture of my beloved 3ePC-chan, but don't forget that I'm also head over heals over the availability of Compiz Fusion in PCLinuxOS!  ^__________^

So here I am playing with a few features:

3) Beauitful, CPU-hogging snow,... great for the holidays!  ^.^
2) Standard cube + SkyDome + Reflection + Cap Logos + Gears plugin
1) Leopard-like Expose

That´s my one!  ;001

Could someone give me more nice Vista-Backgrounds?!
I´m too lazy to make more of them by myself.  ;003

This...? The font/colors were the first thing I started messing around with a month or so back, I assure you ;)

As for Gussy, nice Homeko background!

Pitkin, either that's an awesome theme or Windows or Linux, or you've got some sort of Amiga based OS...?

Though the theme on the window there seems sorta familiar from GNOME or something...

C-Chan

Yo Pitkin-dono!  ^v^
I'm quite confuzzled as well,.... that's certainly Gnome, but doesn't look a thing like Fedora Core.  On the other hand,....

....

*coos*  I did hear of a special Linux windows manager that imitates the Amiga Workbench, so my guess is that you've used it.  Coupled with Alfamille's splendid wallpaper, and presto!  Insta-Win!!!  ^v^

...

Just add water, though.  ^.^

Speaking of which, I'm loading up a quick screenshot of gOS at its best.  ^v^
Notice the number of applications available to download via Synaptic.  ^^

Thanks for the nice comments, Bella-san, C-Chan. ^__^ However, behind that desktop is nothing more mysterious but Fedora 8 with, not Gnome, but xfce window manager. ^^ I'm positive that the impression of Amiga-based OS or Workbench imitation (which sounds yummy *_*) comes mainly from Alfamille-san's background image (kudos to C-Chan too), as the only thing I've actually done to the theme has been to change the default xfce start menu image (the mouse) into that lovely red'n'white Amiga ball in the bottom-left corner. ^o^ My OS starting splash screen has Commodore logo on it, too. <3 Wanted to have all niceties.

Gnome doesn't allow as nice customization as xfce, or rather, it's not easy enough to do for a computer idiot such as myself. ^^;;;

Oh, and finally, huge thanks to Fedora-Tan who always helps me when problems arise; without him I'd probably have no computer at all currently. ^^

Aurora Borealis

I actually thought that was the latest version of the Amiga OS you were running! ^^;

Bella

That would explain why I recognize the window manager, I must have seen it on Zenwalk :P

I guess the lack of a dock of some kind threw me off...every OS (two XD) running xfce I've used has had one...

Oh yeah, and nice screenshot C-Chan! You make me want to try gOS...

Aa sou, so I was half right anyway,... that is Fedora Core.  But how stupid could I be to confuse XFCE with Gnome!  ^___^
I mean I know they are inherently similar (right down to the double control panes), but come on I've only been using Xubuntu for like 4 months straight.  I suck,... baka C-chan...  ^^;

Well the Amiga Ball did erase all references to Fedora Core, so I guess that's where my initial confusion was.  ^__^
But yes, if you ever used AmiWM, your desktop would be even MORE unrecognizable. ^^;

I love KDE for the same reason.  ^.^
Enlightenment seeeeeems very customizable at times, but at others no.  '__'

Well not really,... you'd still have PAN-chan to use.  ^.^
But yes, Fedora-dono needs a standing ovation for all his recent work!  I call it the "Fedoran Standard of Excellence"!  ^____^

*standing ovation*

QuoteI actually thought that was the latest version of the Amiga OS you were running! ^^;

Oh know.... if he started using AmigaOS 4.0, Amiga Inc. would probably sue (cause they're greedy bastards).  Oh why oh WHY does Miggy-chan have to be imprisoned by such horrible people!!  Free her already!!  ^0^

The DreamLinux dock is my favorite.  ^___^
I use on for PCLOS as well, only I always have it hidden.  -v-

QuoteOh yeah, and nice screenshot C-Chan! You make me want to try gOS...

Thanks to VMs, it won't cost you anything except bandwith to try it.  ^___^
