1.my other bro is currently studying abroad
2.our neightbors(or should i say my cousin)likes to steal our internet connection, everytime we block there ip they change it so better idea to just block linux,so till my bro decides to use a normal lan cable instead of wirelessly im stuck with vista.

as to not go off topic to much heres my new wallpaper :D

AtomicCookies for people who can guess what anime the left icons are from ~pyoro :3

Them be the Velvets. They are made of Velvets and Megidolaon.

C-Chan

Fufufu... Guess I'll have to starve cause I just haven't watched enough anime.  ^___^;
The art style reminds me a little of Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru, but then the same could be said of half-a-million other series.  ^v^;

I still can't grasp the concept of blocking an entire operating system, especially when there are hundreds upon thousands of varieties of Linux out there.  Surely if they could break your bro's security before, -- and they REALLY want to mooch off your internet access -- they'll find a way somehow (what with the great Linux spirit of "Hack Free or Die").  Suppose they tried virtualizing a Windows system within VMWare (although not sure if it can do wireless)?  Or what if they got their hands on a less-than-legal copy of 2K, XP or Vista beta to dual-boot and tried that?

At least you certainly help me feel justified for mistrusting wireless connections.  ^.^

In any case, less talk more posts, ne?  ^__^

Had my first successful foray with SAM Linux 2007 today and am officially, 100% FLOORED.  @o@

For those unfamiliar with it (and I don't blame you, with that unmemorable name), SAM Linux is a Linux distribution based on PCLinuxOS, but using a very sleek and heavily-modified version of Xfce.  Meaning you get all the awesome goodness and user-friendliness of PCLinuxOS, but on a system that's much kinder on older hardware.  ^__^

Plus you get other interesting additions too, such as multi-language support, some very awesome preinstalled games, a MacOSX-like dock,... and....

...SOME WIDGET...................... THINGIES......!!!!!!!  ^v^'

(I still don't see the point in them, though, other than to get your money's worth off that RAM.... ^^;)

Added after 2 minutes:

Oh, and yes the machine I'm running it on has a Floppy drive and used to be a very crappy old HP.....

*stares at Bella and s-m-i-l-e-s*

^.^

Gummster

You people really like widgets don't 'ya?
I can't really think of anything great about them, just in the way.

Hey now Gummuntu, don't stick me with those crazies.
I'm just showing widgets there as a marketability ploy.  ^___^

NejinOniwa

Widgets art funny ^^
Stardock workin fine for me here, although i don't use them all that much... ^^

Aw dammit!

*I've developed quite a salty vocabulary since working with that Compaq*

Gummster

You'll see it'll only get in your way, it's just a matter of time.

C-Chan

The great Gummuntu speaks truth to power, people!
Them widgets will SURELY get in the way.... ^.^

Gummster

C-Chan certainly knows his stuffs.

But to stay on topic here's my new wallie. That's Asuka from Tekken by the way.

C-Chan

Uwaaaaah!  ^0^

Despite being..... barely legal........ that's one very colorful 'Buntu....!  ^___^'

Added after 1 minutes:

FYI, I've lost track of Tekken since 2, so I hadn't realized they were all the way to a 5 now.  Do they still have my old friends, the Panda, Bear, Kangaroo and Raptor?  ^__^

Wonder why they never made a Pig....  -v-

Gummster

Yeah I just realised that the wallpaper is a bit 'ya know'
So I changed it into glorious Darker than BLACK!

By the way, Disney's "The three musketeers" must watch, that is if you like those three stooges.

NejinOniwa

A CHALLANGAR APPEARS!!!

Wallified pic myself. 10 bonus Sabloons to anyone who can guess where they're from -w-
