I've been a huge fan of Vania600's illustrations for years so I'm sad to hear that Rail Wars is generic harem BS. >:|

Balrith

Ah yeah, those are really nice. Before Rail Wars started, I saved a few of them without even knowing where they were from.

Love the lighting and shininess of those pictures. Surprisingly distinctive.

Odin Yggdrasil

Pretty much. The first episode really lures in the railfans with the different engines and operations, especially the steam power.

Then the rest of the series thus far has actually been closer to murder mystery with harem oppertunities and only a dusting of actually riding or talking about the trains.

Episode 6 has me a bit ticked off- its clearly a filler. To have that happen so early on in the season is not a good sign.

Haven't watched anime in weeks because of this fat camp thing

Chocofreak13

What's in your hand, back at me. I have it, it's an oyster with two figures of your favorite Touhou characters. Look again, the figures are now vials of the Hourai Elixir. Anything is possible when your waifu smells like Old World and not a man. I'm a frog.

Chocofreak13

YOU COULD HAVE PREVENTED THIS

Chocofreak13

indeedeth. i figured Nichibros was gonna be popular, but i had no idea they'd like Dantalian. think it helps that there are some goth-loli-lovers in the club, and that i nicknamed the show "Action Library". -w-;

Watched Appleseed earlier because it was playing on-demand. Not fond of the animation style, the 3D CGI was alright for the machines and scenery but the characters themselves reminded made me think "highly-evolved MMD models". (Not a great look in other words.) Granted, the details were good and movement quite crisp and realistic, so maybe it's my bias toward cartoony exagerations speaking more than anything else. The first half-hour or so was a little GENERIC SCI-FI ACTION ANIME for me but it picked up from there, the story was alright overall. Probably wouldn't have kept my attention if not for the decent characterization and strong female leads, however.

7/10 would probably watch again.

Nichi

I know the name, but I've honestly never seen it before :\
