Smokey, you must avoid hotlinking.  Hotlinking is when you directly link to content from a website that is not your own - which saps their bandwidth.  The way to avoid this is to post images from an image host like Photobucket (the site Choco linked from), Imageshack, Imagevenue, and Picamatic (the service I use).  You should take the time to familiarize yourself with their ToS before you use one of them (they each have different policies on copyrighted material and such).  There are also plenty of other image hosts, but be careful - they each vary in terms of reputability and safety.
