Kohai it is the youngest member in a community, or for example kohai are the apprentices of a master or a teacher...

And "Senpai" is the "master".

We new member are all kohai of you elder members who are Senpai...

Even in school, elder schoolmates are Senpai and younger ones are Kohai.

For example I am Senpai of KillCliche just for a matter of some days of delay...

At the same time I am Kohai of Exa and others who registered first than me...

Senpai is "senior" and I forgot that Sensei is the "master"...

True a loong time I didn't hear of Sensei...

So we have:

Sensei = master

Senpai =senior member/student/worker etc...

Kohai = younger member/student etc...
