What about the retro tans?  I want to see C64-tan, Amiga-tan and MSDOS-tan!

That is better off as a separate quiz, I think - perhaps together with the more obscure -tans, like the OSR's and betas etc.

Those quizzes are moronic... can't we just decide what we are by our own logic? :p

I, for example, love pwning skiddies and see Windows as nothing but a cheap ripoff of other, better OSes. So my being VMS is a natural fit. xD

Naturally, quite so! But while you may prefer your own choice, and I prefer a lack of classification, there are some - not quite as experienced within the fandom - who would appreciate...a lead.

BY ALL MY READING (at 10 pm, running on ???? hours of sleep) I HAVE DETERMINED WHAT I SEE AS A CORRECT PECKING ORDER:

quiz 1: which os family are you?
  -windows
  - mac
  -linux
  -obscure computers
  -viruses/apps/whatever

quiz 2: what windows are you?
  - windows tans
quiz 3: what mac are you?
  -macs
quiz 4:what linux are you?
  -linux tans (OH GAWDS UNHOLY AMOUNT OF CHARACTERS)
quiz 5: what obscure os are you?
  -older/obscure tans
quiz 6: what virus/site/app/watever are you?
  -ect.


YES this requires effort lazy thread-creator (sora) but the os-tans wouldn't exist w/o effort. great crap in this world would not exist w/o effort.

besides, if we split the work, then it'll go easier. we'll just have to compare notes along the way. :3

I believe that a "what file type are you" quiz already exists, and I'm not sure that file type -tans have their personalities worked out enough yet for a quiz for them.
