So, I am an avid Win7 user, but I've used Ubuntu before, and although learning a new OS is difficult(but not impossible), I am a secret admirer of Ubuntu.

It might sound hypocritical to say, but I don't like the renditions of Ubuntu-tan very much... so this old chap figured he should give it a go.

I haven't thought of any back story or long explanation like you guys do... lol

Needless to say, I have room for improvement.

Looks good to me, and it fits in well with the existing Ubuntu-tan designs we've come up with too. ^^

i think i saw a similar one like that in the gallery.

i've never given much thought to ubuntu other than she's one of maybe 3 OSes that are represented with a skin colour other than ghostly pale. :\

looks good though. but is that a staff or spear? :\

thought i'd ask about the staff, usu. spears are the linux norm.

and photoshop is fo foo. GIMP is where it's at! 8)

Well, polearms in general are the linux families typical weapon choice.

And I'm not too familiar with GIMP. Though seeing as my attention to these things is limited, Photoshop has so far suited my purposes.

GIMP is basically photoshop, only free, and less user friendly.
