Your favorite OS-tan

Hey how about her personality? I think she has an innocent and caring personality. A "daijobou" thing though. For me, it's just personalties are more to be seen in her than boobies and stuff XD

I agree! I think she looks much cuter in pix where she's portrayed more realistically and not such a hog with food. I think she's active, fun-loving and is good looking out for her "master"; although, unlike Vistan, she knows that maybe master knows something she doesn't and trusts his/her judgment. I think she'd be very angry at Vistan, too, and is now probably closer with 2k-tan because of Vistan.

XP-tan being closer to 2k-tan because of Vistan reminds me of a 4koma years ago when 2k-tan being closer to ME-tan because of XP-tan.

Now about XP-tan's personality and such, I could portrait her as a girl in which children could easily relate and interact with. I believe she has a sweet manner to people, although early anonymous artist took more advantage of "more memory, bigger mass" concept than giving her a more in-depth character. Same applies I guess for futaba' Vis-tan, but not on ++(Nijiura.com) 's Vistan-which is cool though.

XP-tan's sweet manner can be also compared to Sonata's, although (no offense to others) it seems MacOS9 Sonata's personalities are almost of NT-san, ME-tan, 2k-tan and XP-tan's personalities combined.


By the way Bella, nice avatar! It seems you really are reliving your rank as "Mac OS9". I really like her dress and the expression of her face in that pic.

Oh yeah, I remember seeing that one I guess most of the "outdated" OS-tans would turn to their older sibling for support (since they went though the same thing too...)

I always thought Sonata-san's personality was pretty unique...NT-san's sorta the motherly (but still a fighter) type, 2k's the reliable businesswoman, ME's the kawaii moe stereotype, and XP's...well we ust went over all that Sonata's artistic and (usually) classy...

I just with the OS X's were as well defined as her

And, Darknight - you have the point. Although, M$ already have done that (they even let a lot of people to be a part of team on Vista last year. Not lot even have passed on that offer, though... X_X Vista is full of stress-inducing errors....) BTW, I have seen a demo of Vienna, the GUI did look really nice (Aero 2 is actually better than Vista's original ones.) - too bad they began beefing the security around Vienna-tan... T_T But, still - yay for Open Source Windows!!! =)
