ive been on this site almost a year longer then you, and my post ocunt is a little over a hunderd more ... that says something...

point was.. that was pretty much a private conversation.. didnt really include others or alow them to be included. thats what PMs are for. most of those post cirtanly didnt link directly to the topic.. cept asking spicificly what one of the macs was his favorite. One or two replys to one person that dont relate to others in thread is acceptable.. but you filled up most of this page in the time it took me to write one post in another thread.

But returning back to the topic at hand, when it comes to the Mac-tans we come face to face with the dreaded Catch 22 of the OS-tan world....

More artists won't volunteer to draw a single design unless it's guaranteed to be popular (otherwise, why bother,... just draw your own).  And yet,... it can't be popular unless more artists volunteer to draw that design.  ^___^'

It worked for the Windows-tans due to the novelty at the time, and (as you say) because of the huge user space.  Macs, naturally, are seriously outgunned.  Said fanbase gives the Windows-tans such gems as the legendary XP YouTube thingie and the OS-tan Idol video.  The Mac fanbase, on the other hand, barely scrapes by with a cute albeit easily overlooked manga.  -v-

So in all seriousness it would seem we're screwed,...
But I say it's time for a rallying call, and a complete rethink on how we're gonna go about evening the odds.  ^__^

We've got images, they've got images.
We've got manga, they've got [sporadic] manga.
But we have miniscule multimedia, and they have a shotload.  -___-

So first order of businsss, up the ante:



Figured I'd post a small preview because I clearly won't be done with it today (have 19 more frames to go), but the end product will go a long way towards saying, "Hey, we can do that too!"  ^__^

And that applies to everyone. Me, the former number ones panda-san, L33t 4g3nt, etc... paying attention to the post count is silly; we've not forbidden off-topic posting, after all. ^^; Do try to keep the tangents as short as possible, though.

Yup. Deja-- err... "They" are another enemy of Futaba's. Another "Public Enemy #1" (the other being Netrunner, who I probably shouldn't have mentioned either)

But I'll admit that I  like "their" rendition of 2K-tan though! Suits her perfectly, IMO!
