So, he's like a gender-flipped Mahiru Inami, from WORKING!? ^^;

Anyway, today was my last day at the Wall Market. Here's how it went down:

How my final day at Walmart went, in order:

Phase 1: Hero Beggening
After taking a nice bath this morning shortly after getting up, and talking with Spence for a bit while reading about some Super Smash Bros stuff, I left home to go by grandma's office to download the new episode of AT4W to watch over lunch...only to find it wasn't up yet, but there was more from Joel's Bizarre ROM Hacks stream up, so I downloaded some of it to watch later. With that out of the way, I go to Walmart

Phase 2: Mocha Magica
The first part of the day went pretty well; while putting out new stuff, I saw we got in Persona Q for the 3DS...a special edition that comes with a free deck of tarot cards, which I'm extremely tempted to pick up tomorrow (As the website lists it as coming out tomorrow), and then likely pass said cards onto Kari to safekeeping. Let's just ignore that I recently picked up Super Smash Bros >w>;

When I took my 15-minute break, I had a mocha frappe; the first one I've had in almost a month, and it was magical. After that, it was back in...as we received a giant display of Tracfones I now had to deal with.

Phase 3: Hammer Time
The display was one we could only use the phones from; the display itself was of no use for us. So, after removing the phones (One of which was an Android phone in a Spongebob Squarepants theme), I was given the order to destroy the display...which at first proved difficult, as it was held together with superglue, with steel bolts securing the peg boards. Thus, the manager suggested I go to maintenance and borrow a mallet.

With said mallet in hand, and me grinning like a psychopath, I proceed to lay the smackdown on that display; all while the boss battle theme from Kirby 64 played in my head. That was very satisfying to do, and as I told one my coworkers, "I got to pretend I was Thor : D".

With that out of the way, lunch begins.

Phase 4: Blind Kung-Fu
Picking up a roast beef sandwich and a bottle of Coke (Along with one of those weird, ball-shaped bottles of Coke they have around Christmas, for the hell of it), I go outside, grab my laptop, and sit down to watch some Vinesauce while eating. I then notice a message on FB from my sister, whom was telling me that the head of my old department from the hospital is going to have my old position open this January, and to talk to her before I put in. Thus, I might not have to stick around Pizza Hut for very long before I go back there; which I could then build up money to move more quickly.

With the good news, and also some laughs over Joel playing a strange hack of Kung-Fu for NES, where the player's sprite is edited to appear as a blind man (Whom is still capable of kicking ass), lunch was nice.

Phase 5: Last Call
When I got back, it was inevitable that I'd have one last phone-related thing to do before the night was over; as I had a guy needing his phone number transferred. Thankfully, it went smoothly (If slowly; he was patient the entire time), so it wasn't as bad as I was dreading. After that, the night was pretty calm; besides a most odd situation of a 16-year-old trying to buy GTA5 for his friend, whom is an 18-year-old (That seems inverted; usually it's the older friend buying the game for a friend that's too young for it, not the other way around).

I then took my final break, as I began a personal quest...

Phase 6: Burning Bread
As I took my last break, the thought of that copy of Persona Q had me pondering; under normal circumstances, a game would be in a box saying "do not sell until [release date]", but this one, even though it was coming out tomorrow, said "place on sales floor immediately" on the box. Thus, I began to ponder if maybe I could buy it now, while I still have discount. Thus, I went on a quest to seek out the box that the game was inside; to see if I could buy it.

However, this quest was fruitless, as I couldn't figure out what happened to the box; it wasn't locked up in the cages (Where the games are supposed to be), it wasn't on the steel shelves that the DVDs are usually on (That was full of Black Friday stuff), and it wasn't with the phones from the display I tore down earlier in the day. Thus, I feel like I may have missed my shot to use my discount on it.

With that aside, I went back to my department.

Phase 7: Ending Fatigue
With less than 2 hours to go, I was slowly running out of things to do. We finished stocking the shelves quickly, and it was so slow that once we had the shelves straightened up, there was really nothing left to do. I found myself wondering aimlessly, attempting to find something to do (Besides the $5 movie bin; which one of my coworkers did straighten up for me...and then a customer wrecked it like 2 minutes later >_>; )

Finally, once 9PM stuck, I turned the keys over to my coworker, clocked out, and left my vest, badge, and discount card on the desk in the manager's office...and nearly left a note saying "So long, and thanks for all the fish", but only knew of 2 people there that would get the reference -w-;

Phase 8: Hot Wing
I decded to drop by Pizza Hut on my way; checking to make sure they had processed my paperwork and got me back into the system, so I can clock in tomorrow. Also, I discovered one of my favorite waiters from my first time there was back; which has me looking forward to my return.

Thus, I have left the danger zone with mere seconds left on the clock before Walmart Night, as I return to the Hut of Pizza for the time being. If I get back on at the hospital, I plan to juggle both for a while to build up money to move more quickly :3

he's afraid of women! took him months to get used to me, which actually speaks SUPER highly since he's known my sister for something like, 2-3 years and is still terrified of her. ^^;

N'aw....

Also, I'm glad you got the hell out of there, Pent. ;^;

@Bella, Kari: Thanks :3

You know, assuming I don't get roped into anything, I should be free on Thanksgiving. Anyone up for some sort of OSC web gathering thingy? :3

Bella

I should be around in the evening, maybe we can play CAH together or something?

I want to join. Never played CaH, but sounds like it's a lot of fun.

Nichi

@Duko: It is :3

@Kari: Sounds good to me; I might hide out at grandma's office so we can keep going late -w-

Chocofreak13

yay, that means Steve can join! ^^

@kodomo: it'd be awesome for you to play. but there are 2 things to remember:
1. we're gonna be playing till rather late, so be prepared for that. or just stay for the first few rounds.
2. under NO circumstance are your parents to see the game. it is very dirty, raunchy, offensive and they would likely revoke your computer privileges if they were to see it. (that said, it is fucking hilarious.)

idk if i'm working on friday, but i'm still game. ^^

On Thanksgiving, I can stay up until 2, no worries.

The good news is that my parents don't read the shit on my computer. Woe be me if I see pornographic images, however.

Nichi

@Duko: Nice. Hope to see you there :3

Chocofreak13

@kodomo: it's text-based, not image-based, so you're all good. but the cards can be a bit big so be warned.

Are we playing CaH on Thanksgiving Day?

Nichi

Yes. At night, and it sounds like it'd probably be late (Like, maybe until 2AM or something)
